Was pleasantly surprised when we ate here on Sunday. We drove from Virginia Beach, my kids and grandkids from Richmond. Great place to meet for lunch, the parking lot was full so get there early so you can get a spot. Call ahead 1 hour or go in, it makes the wait a lot shorter. I loved the shrimp on the potatoes as an appetizer and I had it for my meal too!

My friend and I ate here for the first time tonight and we loved it. We had a fantastic waitress and a wonderful manager came by and the food is amazingly good. I had the special, salmon with pineapple salsa that was delicious. My friend had the meatloaf and enjoyed that very much as well.

Reservations a Must! We used the Priority Wait-list Seating (and an early arrival) to be promptly seated. We selected the Filet and Crab Cake Combo for $35.50 The fillets were six ounce and they were cooked to order. The crab cakes were a little dry but still tasty. Eshaun was personable and helped us order.

Absolutely delicious food!! Large portions that left no room for dessert. Will be back soon!!Update:I've gotten hooked on the shrimp and grits. I literally make the half hour drive just to satisfy this craving. It is THAT good y'all! Even on their busiest day, the service is impeccable. Someone is always checking on you and the owner even stops by the tables to have a quick chat with diners. It's amazing!The only complaint I have is that I wish it was closer to home, but if it was, I'd probably go broke dining there every day.Also, the bartender made the most delicious virgin ginger mojito I've ever tasted and the piece of sugar cane reminds me of home! Very nice!Lovely place, fast service, great atmosphere! Will be back!!Update 2024Food for thought should be the service model that all restaurants go by! Impeccable in every way! And to get your meal within 8-12 minutes of ordering is unheard of! Totally worth the drive!Mr. Howard is such a nice man too. I truly love this place!
What a great find. Recent visit to Williamsburg found us with a wealth of very good choices for food, and this one was definitely one of our favorites. Great food, good portions, good prices, all set in a unique and "thoughtful" atmosphere. Management and the owner were friendly and caring, a well trained staff (Lindsey our server was great). We will always come back when in town!
We had a great meal. We were seated quickly which was unexpected as we were a party of 7. Our server was responsive and quick to help with anything we needed. Our dinners were great. If I lived in the area, I would definitely come back.
