When the ad said step back in time it was telling the truth. I don't think a penny has been spent in updating or remodeling this restaurant since it was built. By its decor it looks at least 40 years old. I can say the same for the menu. Service was attentive but there was only one other table in the restaurant when we dined. Food was presentable but nothing that would bring me back.

Seafood platter was horrible: burned crab cakes and burned oysters. Ordered take out. Returned because it was not edible.

This place is NOT worth it. The atmosphere felt nice and our waiter was friendly, but the food was horrible. My husband had a surf and turf, and his lobster was overcooked and had a fishy taste. The steak that came with the surf and turf was not seasoned, and had no flavor at ALL. On top of that, he ordered the steak medium rare and it came on the rare side. Disappointing considering that this was a $68 meal.I had the Long Island flounder and every bite had bones in it. The vegetables that came with it were not even soft. We just quickly ate and left, will not be returning and DO NOT waste your money here.

I was not too impressed. Food was bland and overcooked. I will not be back but I do see how hard the staff is trying. Great atmosphere and great service. They just need to spice up their menu.

Wonderful place to eat. My friend from Texas and I 'm from Colorado go to Williamsburg every year.. We always eat here. The Crab stuffed shrimp is amazing. PS.. The owners Mom looks really young. ?

The only thing good were the raw oysters. Our meals were bland and overcooked. I had veal and my husband had the scallops. What a disappointment! Even the vegetable side was bad! Frozen unseasoned broccoli and carrots. The “hollandaise” tasted like it was made from a mix.Overpriced and lousy food!

$42 Ribeye was tasteless, dry, and almost inedible. Service SLOW. Temp of the restaurant was too hot. Will not return.

An excellent choice for seafood and steaks. Our experience was excellent. Seafood was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Steaks were done perfectly and we're enjoyed by our guests. We are locals and have been coming to The Seafare for years. It's been around for a long time so they must be doing something right.

Ate there 20 years ago and it was delicious. Sadly, the food quality has slipped to mediocrity. Neat atmosphere concept but the bread and meal were just ok. Good service.
