Today, March 30,2024, Me and my husband went to have drinks here and when we walked in they told us we could sit anywhere. We sat down and that was it. Zero customer service was given to us. They served everyone around us and started cleaning tables as if they had a full house and needed to clear tables, it was I only 7 customers there. Not sure if it was because of our race or not but we were the only black people in there and received zero service there. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Never was given the chance to try any food or drinks there. -1 out if 10 for us.

Chris was my Families bar tender and provided outstanding service! Huge beer selection, food was great. We had the wings with Brown Sugar Bourbon and Ragin' Cajun dry rub, Smoked Brisket Tacos, Mac'n Cheese bites and the brisket grilled cheese. All were outstanding and my 16 yr old and 13 yr old shared the sandwich Brisket grilled cheese and mac'ncheese bites. My son is a picky eater and thought both were awesome! Wings and brisket tacos were great as well. Chris is a great server and bar tender and provided outstanding service. Food came quickly and was fresh. Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying I used to love the food and the service here. Tonight was the worst experience I’ve ever had dining here. The food took entirely too long to come out, and by the time it came out the food was all cold and tasted like something was wrong with it. There were other tables around us sending their food back numerous times. There was no manager present, the wait staff had to try to diffuse the situation with everyone. My family and I are definitely not coming back after the experience we had tonight.

A great small town, rustic feel. The menu is simple but everything is delicious. Tons of beer on tap and always having a ton of events and live venues. Outdoor seating and great staff make this a place to check out!

Disgusting food. I had steak tacos, my son had a burger, other son had wings. All bland and underwhelming. My husband got chicken nachos that came out cold. So disappointed, save your money!
They have large selection of beer on tap. The employees are awesome.

I am absolutely baffled by the negative reviews. We have lived in New Town for 2 years and finally tried the Brass Tap and I'm so glad we did! I have had an awful week of work and needed a drink and fun atmosphere to de-stress. We walked in and sat at a high top and immediately someone came to take our order and explain the specials. She was extremely friendly!! I decided on a beer and cheeseburger and fries. The beer came right away and was amazing. The beer, liquor, wine and cocktail selection is vast and impressive!! I went for the tried and true Alewerks because I love everything they make. And indeed, it was cold and hit the spot. Even though I did not give any specific instructions for the cheeseburger, it came out amazing, as did the French fries. I had two more beers (one more Alewerks and the Brass Tap double IPA) before calling it a night. I am blown away by the quality of the food and the service and I cannot wait to return!

Excellent bar and pub. The service is always friendly and quick. I am giving the food served here 4 stars because there is a lack of variety for vegetarians and vegans. The quality itself is good and the chefs are doing a good job. It is a little hard to enjoy the dining experience when you are eating one of two vegetarian options every time. Overall, nice job!

I did a review last year and now I have changed my mind , I live here in New Town and I can tell you it's a great community, no issues here. We went there and this place has turned into a ghetto crowd and awful music. Such a disappointment! Food sucks , drinks are awful and the shady crowd that exists there which pushes a lot of us away. We pay a lot to live here and enjoy nightlife but not there anymore! Do not go here. It truly sucks

Horrible service if I could give a 0 star I would. It took them 30 minutes to get us our drink and before even coming back to ask what food we wanted so we ended up leaving and this has happened on multiple occasions. And we have had experiences where the server will ask why we gave them little to no tip when the service is like this.
