A Williamsburg mainstay for many years, if you haven’t been by The Wine Seller recently — it’s worth a return trip! Chyna and her team have doubled down on making TWS a warm & welcoming stop, fit for the wine/beer enthusiast and the casual consumer. An extensive wine selection (as the name would suggest) along with a rotating craft beer selection full of rare finds & local favorites. Chef Maggie’s new Cork Cafe menu is *chef’s kiss* — with made-to-order light fare for pairing & shareable bites for dining. The best part: the people! Familiar faces who know how to help you find what you need…and who make you feel like a regular, whether it’s been a day, a week, a month, or a year since your last visit.

Very unique and great experience. Met with family when I was I'm town and we were able to buy a bottle off the shelf that met my cousins dietary needs as she is sensitive to sulfates. The staff was awesome pointing us in the right direction for a delicious bottle of wine and the food was ridiculously delicious. Grilled Brie cheese with apples and honey, whipped feta, bratwurst wrap and charcuterie. Wow I can't say enough. I don't think I recognized any of the 100's of beers they had in the cooler. The beer and wine on tap were a nice touch. Check this place out if you like wine and beer. PS the kids loved the food and gourmet sodas as well!

Very good selection of craft beer. The mixed 4 packs are a great idea and good value.

Don’t let him fool you, John is an excellent steward of this store. His specialty is beer and food, but they also offer an excellent wine selection and can usually order what you’re looking for if they don’t have it.As far as food, the adult grilled cheese is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Great stop off for lunch.Excellent sandwich menu and great beer selection. Very happy with our choice of a Williamsburg off the tourist path location.

Great wine selection similar to the Cheese Shop basement on D.O.G. I buy my Amarone at both. Excellent beer and cigar selection and really good sandwiches if you're not in a hurry (as you shouldn't be for a good sandwich and drink). Best Reuben in town IMHO. The place has transformed from more of a wine bar to hipster beer bar (with music tastes as well) over the past few years. No TV or other distractions. Highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner whether you're a wine or beer aficionado.

Closing at 6 p.m. is just bad business most people don't get off work until 5. I would at least stay open until 9 p.m. at night when people can actually come in to visit. Eat.I know people drink before 5 p.m. but it would be nice to have evening hours

We had a work function at the wine cellar. It was a really good experience especially for how many people they were having to serve. We had a pick-your-own charcuterie with delicious cheeses and meats. The service was wonderful and the owner was really friendly. I loved the wine filled walls and their selection was great!

Imagine a wine store where you can buy a bottle (at a reasonable price) and then sit down and drink it with an amazing charcuterie board, sandwich, or tapas from their deli, or just have a glass of wine (or craft beer) from their rotating tap at the bar, and that is what is happening at The Wine Sellar!Cheers to visiting again soon!

During the frantic holiday season, I found a peaceful place to enjoy both food and wine at The Wine Seller. And I was grateful to see that the new owners have brought back a small, but amazing food menu, and with two wines by the glass to enjoy, I was delighted. Both the brie and apple bruschetta and the prosciutto and Swiss puff pastries were delectable and large enough to share. The owner says that the menu will expand in 2023!

Went to this place last week, and I'm afraid it's a one and done for me. I was looking for a Champagne as a gift, and since the selection was so limited I started looking for another wine. No one ever came over to help. Fine. So I take the bottle that I selected myself and walked over to the register where a guy with long hair was standing. The guy just ignored me then walked over to the bar which I realized he was tending. I get it if someone has to cover a bar, but you NEVER walk away from a customer without acknowledging them with at least "I'm covering the bar, but my co-worker will check you out in just a minute" or any basic polite form of acknowledgement. Totally rude. Then the guy who eventually came over and did check me out (never cracked a smile or said anything like "did you find everything you needed" etc) did the most lame job of gift wrapping the not-cheap bottle of wine that I bought. He just slipped in a silver cover and said "there ya go". Sorry, but at these prices, you don't get me back with that lackluster service.

Owner and blonde woman are rude and unfriendly! Also run their mouth about people in front of customers...unprofessional to say the least. Avoid.
