This might just be the worst Chinese restaurant in the world. Upon entering, you see a small dining area with a couple of park benches. The counter is covered in plexiglass, pieced together with what I can only describe as pieces of 2x4 found in an alley. There’s a SMALL opening big enough only for your credit card, and you’re expected to sign the slip and put it in a bowl of all other customers’ slips. Really, really weird.I ordered vegetable Lo Mein, which was simply a bowl of noodles with maybe 4 snow peas. Also ordered the beef Chow Mein which came with no noodles, and virtually no beef. It is ALL onions. Also ordered a side of spring rolls. No sweet and sour, no soy sauce, no mustard, no utensils. All the “food” is incredibly bland and extremely overpriced for what you actually get. This place is an incredible rip-off, and quite possibly the worst restaurant in all of Williamsburg. Avoid at all costs!!!

This is one of my favorite places for takeout. People ordering door dash need to know they are ordering from Williamsburg Crossing, not the Lightfoot location. Keep that in mind when tipping your driver.

This is exactly what I expect from a strip-mall Chinese takeout in our area of Virginia. The 'decor' suffers because this location is in one of the oldest strip malls in the area. But when combined with their plexiglas enclosure, it feels like I am in NYC.They sure work hard, and somehow get the order right 9 times out of ten

Not sure why this place only has 2.5 Stars . It's by far the best tasting Chinese food in the area . Food is always hot and fresh with fast service. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for good Chinese food.

Made a large order of 6 meals for our medical office on July 4th. Ordering was easy. When I showed up at 1231pm for an order that was to be ready at 1230pm(order placed at 1150am) the order was nowhere near ready, they actually just started to cook the food when I walked in... why give a pickup time then?? The man at the front counter asked me if I wanted vegetable Lo mein instead of chow mein and I said chow mein light vegetables as placed on the order. Apparently, this is the one and only takeout chinese restaurant that calls a plate of vegetables (mostly onions in a mystery sauce) vegetable chow mein WITHOUT any actual chow mein noodles. $10 for a small plate of slimy vegetables... thank God it wasn't the quart size I actual paid for. Ordered a Hot and Spicy Shrimp that has ZERO SHRIMP and no spice... just tough vegetables!! We had two orders of wonton soup that were jammed into the bag and broke and spilled all over everything before I even got back to the office. Now we are working a 12+ hour day without a meal because of that ONE takeout that thinks that Chow mein is a vegetable and not a noodle and Shrimp is not included in Hot and Spicy Shrimp(another waste of money). We will never order from there again, expensive lesson learned. When I called to ask about our order the man that I spoke with was very rude and did NOTHING to make it right or even let me speak. Pictures show what I got vs. what I expected. AWFUL!! AWFUL!! AWFUL!! WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF I COULD.

A real hole in the wall type place not far from main Williamsburg. What I like most about Tops is the affordability. For example, I went in and ordered sesame chicken. This lunch combo came with a soup and rice. I additionally got an egg roll. All of this came out to around $10 if that. Do not let the price scare you away - the food is good. If you are looking for a quick bite or ordering a large meal for a group, look no further than Tops.

This place is awful. I put in an online order, was told I needed to wait 20 mins, just to find out they hadn’t cooked my food after the 20 mins. They over charge. The man thought he was going to take my payment after not cooking my food so I’d wait longer. Absolutely don’t go there. Customer service is horrible. Not to mention the staff are always arguing with each other. Who wants to hear that after getting off from work. If I could give it no stars, I would.

This place is awful. I had to wait 20 minutes for online order then wants to 20 minutes were up. I found out that my food wasn't cooked. They tried to overcharge me however, I told them I was not gonna pay and wait another 20 minutes for my food. Customer service was awful, the crew was arguing with each other the whole time who wants to get off from work and witness this? If I could give it is zero, I would.

Been going here for what seems like 20 years. The food is always exactly the same. It isn't fancy by any stretch but the food is good and consistent. Shrimp egg rolls have shrimp in them. The lo mein is always hot and very flavorful. Stick to the basics and you'll be satisfied.

(This Top's China is in the shopping center at 199 and Rt 5)I don't know about some of their other offerings, but the pork ? fried rice and egg ? rolls are good. ? The Orange ? Chicken was not fresh and quite over cooked. Most things were OK, just not a step above the rest. ?
