Chinatown restaurant is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Winchester. The manager Ming is wonderful. The customer service of the waiters and waitresses is wonderful and the food is exquisite. If you need a good restaurant to go to a Winchester, go there, you won't be disappointed.

There is no other Chinese place like this one in Winchester. It is unsuspecting from the outside, but has a completely different vibe inside. All their meats are so fresh and everything is flavorfully cooked to perfection. They have all the Chinese food classics with other unique dishes. The bartender is super nice and makes delicious drinks!

This restaurant is the embodiment of "don't judge a book by its cover." At first glance, this place may look sketchy. The motel next to it doesn't help with that feeling either, as my first time hear walking to the restaurant entrance I heard a lot of arguing coming from the motel of what I can only assume to be a couple fighting about money or drugs. But once you're inside the restaurant you get a glance of how classy and busy the place is. The architecture has a sleek modern look. However, the seating feels a bit cramped. Service is okay. Not good. Not bad either. Just lukewarm. What makes this place so great is the FOOD. OMG THE FOOD IS AMAZING! They give you so much food for dinner and it's served in large portions meant to be shared via family style. We ordered miso soup, steam and fired dumplings, veggie lo main and general Cho's chicken. I've never had so much food in one single portion. The family and I all shared bits of our meals together. The dumplings had to be the best I've ever had in a long while. I highly recommend this place!

This place was awesome. The place was packed with locals which tells you everything. The seat at the bar was a great spot to enjoy mu shu pork. Service was excellent too.

Excellent food and service. Honestly I never paid much attention to this place driving by because it looks so ordinary. I'm glad I finally decided to stop in and try it. Wow! I've really been missing out for a long time, haha. I'll definitely be back soon. By the way the sushi/rolls are on point too. Do yourself a favor and try one.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

The food is tasteful, they serve farm to table produce and NON-GMO meats. We tried the steak Chinese style and the crouching tiger sushi. Also, the service is stellar! this is a hidden gem in Winchester, we highly recommend.

I found my new happy place! What a breath of fresh air! Delicious food, great staff, and perfect atmosphere. All the food deliciously home made, no manufactured, frozen food here! I had the Four Seasons and my wife had the General Tso's Chicken. Both dishes so good and the General was correctly spicy!Prices are reasonable too.Dietary restrictions: They have a lot of Gluten Free options!

Reading some negative reviews here, it's hard to believe we ate at the same place. Showed up at 4:45 on a Friday without a reservation and the hostess was very up front that nothing was guaranteed since they are booked up. I was like hey totally cool, I've wanted to check this place out after hearing great things, including from my boss at work so we were happy to invest an hour and chill in the unassuming lounge area.Luckily, a 5:00 reservation cancelled so we ended up waiting only about seven minutes. I thought it was really considerate of them to accommodate us.The appetizers-seaweed salad, California roll, and dumplings-were outstanding, same can be said for our entrees: Kung Pao Chicken, green curry, and whatever the chef's specialty was that my wife ordered-all excellent. In the past 30 years, 99+% of all Chinese restaurants have consolidated and serve the same garbage products. This isn't just good execution on that poor concept- it's actual family recipes like the sign says. It does not taste like everything else. Chinatown is it's own thing, and now the only Chinese food I'll eat in Winchester. It's real Chinese like when I was a kid.Service was A+. No need to belabor the details but after a career in hospitality, the waiter did everything right. We were never rushed, our drinks couldn't get empty, and bothered to show the courtesy of getting us fresh soup broth to take our soup to go. We didn't request it, the gentleman just did it.Lived here for years. Was as huge mistake to not come by sooner, but better late than never. Whoever these people are, they can run a dang restaurant. Bravo. Thanks for an exceptional dining experience. Thanks for welcoming us into your house for an hour and a half on a Friday night. We're better for it and salute your exceptional service.
