The food here is typically great and when every other restaurant on the walking mall is crammed, this place typically has tables open. The uncomfortable wooden seats and the cigarette smell are the only reasons we don’t eat here more often.

Overall I'd give it a five star experience, I thought the prices were a little bit much but who am I to judge, not high enough to stop me from buying food.To start, the separate smoking and non-smoking entrances are so cool and it really gives a unique vibe to the restaurant. I loved the exterior and the all wood fixtures on the bar and stuff.People have talked about how the decor is dated but I must admit, the way the decor and the menus looked I had VERY low expectations. I was expecting a 3 star meal and service, but our drinks were fantastic and the food looked and tasted delicious, even in a relatively empty restaurant near closing time on a weekday.5 stars purely because this place seems like a sleeper and I think it's a place everyone should go to.
I asked my granddaughter what she liked about this place and she said the ketchup. I liked the horseradish sauce on my french dip sandwich. Truly the worst sandwiches we have been served in eons. Came out of there and the air was filled with delicious smells from the place across the street. Insult to injury.

Very overpriced. The pasta was disgusting, the burger was dry, and the crab cake barely had crab. The server was fine, but slow. Won’t return. Probably the worst food we have had in Winchester.
