Cracker Barrel is a great family friendly restaurant with food that tastes homemade. Usually get a vegetable plate with four sides. The restaurant also has a retail side with clothing, hair accessories, candies, jewelry and more. They rotate the retail seasonally. If you are looking for a quilt, they have a small selection. It’s a great place for browsing, great food and caring staff. Highly recommended.

My husband wanted fried chicken. But did not want the breast meat and asked for a substitute. Waitress said it was not possible. So husband wanted to see the manager. Manager told him what the policy was as the chicken came already packaged. So I asked that my meal be a take out and we went home. I had my catfish, he had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Normal cracker barrel cuisine, our server was fantastic, she worked great with our five year old granddaughter who was a bit cranky after four hours in a car. Our server was very attentive and I feel went above her work.

Most of the food was good. The sweet potato casserole was different and not in a good way. We purchased the heat and serve meal for Easter. I won't do that again. It was way more work than I expected. I expected to just have to heat the items but it took over 3 hours to do it all. The ham alone took 2 hours.
