I ordered food, it cost me $80 and they gave me almost no food, $15 each plate, and with no rice, no chicken, terrible, I seriously don't recommend it from the bottom of my heart, it's not worth it at all.

Small portions. Food tastes average. Wait staff not friendly at all. Way overpriced. Be aware of the fine print on the menus...you will be charged an extra $3 if you ask for additional salsa and chips. Much better Mexican restaurants elsewhere in the Northern Virginia area.

As soon as I walked into this restaurant and saw that it was totally empty except for a couple in a booth, I should have turned around and started running. I looked around and turned to my friend and said "this is not a good sign". It was noon at at the peak of lunch hour and the place was empty. I am a huge fan of Mexican food. I have never eaten at a place that I did not like. That being said, this was the worst food I have ever eaten. I got a burrito and a taco. No flavor at all. The worst part of the experience was when I got up to go to the restroom. As I entered the hallway a fowl smell hit me. I figured that it must be coming from the restrooms. Wrong! The odor was coming from the area of the kitchen. I tried to explain it to my friend but all I could say that it was fowl and rancid. We both got the lunch specials and our bill was over $40. Shocker!!! Overpriced, horrible tasteless food. I wish I had gone to Taco Bell.

Amazing food and great service. The spicy sauce with the tacos I ordered was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and an amazing atmosphere.

Got takeout.. My wife had a chili relleno and I had a tamale, both à la carte. Average quality, sauce was about what I'd expect from a Chef Boy-Ar-Dee can, surprisingly un-Mexican. Salsa with the chips was better. Both dishes were barely warm after driving a block to the hotel, but prices were reasonable.

I can't figure out why this business doesn't have more stars. We eat Mexican a lot and this place is a gem. Great food and great service. Not your run of the mill Mexican eatery. All the the food was hot and delicious. The margaritas were excellent. We stopped here for the first time on our way home from a trip north, but this restaurant is now number one on our list of places to eat at on our frequent trips up north from SW Virginia. We got married in Winchester and I wish we'd known about Los Toltecos then because we'd have celebrated there.

Randomly decided to go here after spending most of the day at a University event. Was not expecting anything spectacular, but was pleasantly surprised. Food and service was great. We will definitely go back the next time we're in town.

If you cannot eat beef or pork for some reason (like me), I do not recommend this restaurant. There is only like 5 chicken dish options and a few of the lunch specials are chicken but if you don't look there is pork or beef in the dish as well. The chicken dishes aren't the most appetizing. You'd think that if the dish says dinner, you'd expect a largish plate. The plate I got was barely anything, it was fairly small. I got the 2 chicken burritos with rice and beans, it was more like 2 small enchiladas and okay rice and beans. Personally, I will not be returning.

Big thumbs-up for a high value, relatively low cost South of the Border dining experience! We always stop here when traveling through Winchester, we always order the carnitas and margheritas, and somehow we always get the same waiter, Carlos. The food is tasty and the drinks are strong. Best of all, innn addition to being an attentive waiter, Carlos is very good-natured about helping us practice our (muy mal) Spanish. For the type of restaurant it is (casual ethnic dining), it gets all five stars from me!

Stopped here because we could not find the restaurant we were looking for and as it turns out it was lucky we could not. The staff was pleasant and the meal was VERY good. We even treated ourselves to a Margarita which was not only refreshing and well made, but a bargain since we were there on "Margarita Monday"
