Little dated but that's something that went unnoticed by me. My wife did though. I was only interested in the food, service and how many dishes I would have to wash to cover my tab. I didn't have to do any dishes the price was good the food and service more than made up for any decorations.

Took over an hour for our food. All 4 entrees cold when they arrived. Out of shrimp, oysters, burgers on a Sat night. Disappointing. Flavor of steak was good - just cold. Be better for the price paid please.

The mushroom and brie soup did not have the slightest hint of brie. The scallops were somehow both over and undercooked. The risotto was overcooked. Describing the chicken as "pecan encrusted" was generous. Every item was under seasoned and bland with the exception of the asparagus. The drinks were fine. As advertised. Nothing to complain about but nothing to praise. The staff was attentive but seemed like they had seen better days before having their souls sucked out by the food industry. Overall a disappointing affair. Overrated and overpriced for the quality we experienced.

The Village Square is one of the best restaurants in Winchester. Food and service are consistently top notch. My wife and I had a great Friday night dinner and drinks as always but it was the very knowledgeable and attentive service that prompted me to write a review. It's obvious most places that service has been deteriorating but Village Square continues to maintain high standards.

We've celebrated our wedding anniversary at Village Square off and on for nearly thirty years. The food and service has always been first class, in quality, flavor, presentation, but the ambience has, well, changed I'd say. It has gradually morphed from formal to a contemporary casual. But so has our culture. In the final analysis, the present experience is still great, and the change won't keep me away.

This was our third time visiting Village Square in Winchester. It's the best restaurant in the area hands down and Jeffery was excellent each time so ask for him specifically. I highly recommend this spot

Village square is a great place to dine. Whether you are entertaining out of town guests or just having a date night, you can't go wrong. The food is always wonderful and the wait staff is superb. Chef Dan is always serving up new and innovative dishes for his patrons to enjoy. Whether you go and enjoy happy hour (you must try the chicken wings as they are awesome!) or order from the menu, you will not be dissapointed. Check out their facebook page for upcoming events.

I believe for the cost of food your gonna pay for at most restaurants these days, this place is by far worthy of giving a chance for the quality of food your getting and as far as the price is concerned it's not unreasonable.

Our high expectations were exceeded in every way: service; ambience and food. The Oysters Rockefeller were wonderful; and I have had many different interpretations of this old standby over the last fifty years. Being poached in a cream sauce they were very rich indeed. My companion's Salmon Filet very generous and my scallops on risotto were excellent. We enjoyed the mushroom & brie soup and seasonal winter vegetables as well. The Desserts (Baked Alaska and Bananas Foster) were a fun way to finish the experience. WE PLAN ON RETURNING SOON (PERHAPS FOR RESTAURANT WEEK IN WINCHESTER'S ANNUAL CELEBRATION)

The Village Square never disappoints, service is great, food is amazing, I have never had a bad experience there! One of my favorite places to eat. This was the first time I came for brunch and it was excellent! Keep up the good work!

Impressively creative menu, so many delicious sounding gluten free options it was hard to choose. Had the salmon with spaghetti squash that was incredibly flavorful and delicious. My husband had the filet which was tender and delicious, best he's had in a long while. The cocktails are creative too, I had "blood and smoke" it was absolutely delicious! Wait staff is friendly and on it and the atmosphere is cozy. There was nothing I didn't like, wish I lived in Winchester so I could try the whole menu! Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: More gluten free options than most restaurants.

There were many excellent food options to choose from this weekend. Always love the burger! However my friend had scallops and was in heaven. Excellent dessert options also with a perfect proportion.

Good food, good service. Did have to request raw bar menus which were not offered automatically. Table of four directly behind us were literally screaming at times which Made it difficult to have conversations. We should have requested to move to a different table . Would recommend the food, atmosphere and service.
