I’ve wanted to visit Aburi Gardens International Restaurant for a few years now so I was super excited to be able to finally stop by today! The friendly server Christopher speaks Mandarin because he went to a Chinese University. I loved the Goat & Pepper Soup with Fufu and Motherland Combo with Jollof Rice, Spinach Stew (Egusi) with Beef & Fried Plantains. The goat & pepper soup here has a kick! I tried a bottle of Fula that was made with millet grain, whole milk, pure sugar, sour creme, pepper, salt, & cloves. It was like a spicier version of Horchata. I can’t wait to return for more pepper soup, fufu, and jollof rice!

This is the nicest Ghanaian restaurant I've been to in the Woodbridge area. My friend and I were greeted by the owner, the moment we walked in. We ordered our food before sitting down. I was very surprised they had everything we ordered on menu available because it's rare at most Ghanaian restaurants. Our food came out really quickly. For drinks, I ordered the spicy hibiscus drink it was really good. For food, I ordered the Attieke with tilapia. The tilapia was well seasoned and tasted so good. The Attieke was all right. The presentation alone was beautiful. My friend ordered the FuFu with goat soup. I gave it a try, and it tasted so good! I highly recommend this Ghanaian restaurant. It was super clean and the service was quick. I will be returning for sure.

This place is the definition of what's wrong with locally owned businesses in America. Food is much too expense what they give you and instead of actually cooking it with flavor they just throw mountains of spice on everything to give you flavor which is not good for your digestive system so you will be in the bathroom for the days to follow after eating here. Place definitely sucks

Randomly stumbled upon this place and I'm definitely glad I did! The food is flavorful and I really enjoyed it. Ambiance: 5/5 - I love afrobeats music and since that was playing i was vibin! It was a fun environment + they had the nfl Sunday games going so I can't complain. Price: 4.5/5 - They give large portions and I think the price is justified. Food: 4/5 - It was my first time trying jollof rice and it was very solid. I was surprised that they had a crispy texture. The oxtail was super flavorful and I enjoyed every bite. My only complaint here is that although the portions are large, I received a ton of rice and not enough oxtail and it felt like the ratio was off. Service: 5/5 - Friendly staff and the restaurant was starting to get busy when I arrived but they were still checking on me.

Unprofessional!!! . Not even gonna go in to detail on my terrible experience after driving here from Richmond but I will never eat here again. Highly disappointed as this was one of my favorite spots. I have brought this place so much business and to be treated so nasty after bringing my food back from a mistake that THEY made, was crazy.
