“One of the most welcoming and fun experience of dinning me and my husband have ever had. We both love sushi and stumped upon this place. Boy were we glad we did! Bento mama made us both feel like we were her children who have been missing. The food was good but I understand everyone’s review regarding pricing and I will agree the price is definitely on the higher side for the portion. The Soysauce was homemade which made it much more appealing. It was overall a fun class experience and I’m so happy with found it and will be back!“
“They did get more expensive and I noticed the server barely gives meat BUT, considering I ate in DC and it was way worse than Cajun Grill, I'd most likely get food here again.I'm glad they let me have veggies as a base because I don't eat noodles or rice. I got the 2 combo option: shrimp and a spicy chicken. I was upset when the server gave me a spoon and a quarter of chicken :( like give me at least 2 for the $12 I'm paying. If they're more generous with the portions I'd def come back. But now I'm feeling that $12 was a bit much for the meat I got :/“
“Hands-down, the best sushi in the area. My family and I have been all-over and love the variety Taiko offers. We no longer go to D.C. for sushi.Service is the best and the atmosphere is perfect for 1-2, or even a large family or small gathering. Our family fave!!“
“We came from New Jersey for Cherry Blossom weekend. And we love Thai Authentic food. Some of our Thai friend recommends this place. We had a very fantastic night ever. All the staff are very lovely and patient. We are sorry if we’re making noise but it’s really good and joyful with the song they turned on ? also the food are incredible! All the sauce is amazing. I recommended Mah lah sauce not too spicy. The meat are fresh and good quality.“
“Stopped into Kumo for some sushi and this place was popping! There were not many empty tables but I happened to find one and decided to eat inside the restaurant instead of takeout. The restaurant had a sushi specials menu as well as regular rolls; Thai, Chinese, and hibachi entrees. I could not make a a decision on what I wanted but ended up ordering the chicken with broccoli with fried rice. The fried rice is $1 extra. The chicken and broccoli came out hot! The texture of the chicken was a little off. The rice didn't come out at the same time as my entree. I also ordered the Pokémon roll. The roll was huge and very delicious. I wish the waitress would have brought out the roll and just waited for the rice to come out at the same time. I would definitely be back to try more of what Kumo has to offer.“
“A family member was in the ER. I was hungry and decided to try this little café. I ordered the the roast beef BLT. The man was really polite and said that he hoped I enjoyed it. That sandwich was AWESOME It was probably the BEST sandwich I've ever eaten. It was loaded with roast beef and a good amount of bacon. It had just the right amount of lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo.If I could I would give them 10 stars. If I'm in the Kingstown area again during their business hours, I will definitely eat there again.“
“We have been ordering from here for 20 years. They are amazing! I only rate "atmosphere" 3 stars because they really don't have sit-down service any more, since COVID they have not brought it back, but their food is amazing to pick up and their delivery is fast and friendly.Parking: They are in a strip with a large amount of parking available, but these days they don't offer sit-down service so you only need to park for 1-2 minutes in any case.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is technically wheelchair accessible, but only as far as picking up food. They do not have dine-in service and I do not believe they have public restrooms for anyone.“
“Establishment has improved tremendously since it first opened. My wife and I have went here two weeks in a row now and have had a great time each visit. Prices are very fair for kbbq and it’s a huge plus that my 3 and 1 year old are free!“
