Got there around 4pm on a Friday afternoon and surprised that both the dining room & bar were already pretty full. After getting the scoop that we could get the regular menu along with extra bar menu only on the bar area … we snagged the last 2 seats at a high-top table in the back of the bar (near door to their take-out orders room). We were promptly given menus by our waitress/bartender Carolyn … who was so awesome in guiding and chatting with us throughout our visit. DH got a 20 oz. Sierra Nevada hazy IPA for under $5 and my golden margarita was definitely very effective (i.e., strong enough for me to start feeling it … lol). In addition to the complimentary warm bread, I got a cup of the (just the way I like it with corn and lumps of crab) Maryland Crab Soup ($8.25) along with the (not really spicy but super tasty and large 10 oz.) Firecracker Crab Bomb ($44.95) with cole slaw and green beans. DH opted for the (baked and overly filling) Shrimp Stuffed with Crab Imperial ($44.95) with baked potato and green beans. So glad we decided to stop in this place and hope that we have the opportunity to come again!

The food was excellent, best grilled rock fish EVER! The service was excellent! Some in our party had the "crab bomb"...they claimed it was very good. The restaurant signature item....it was VERY pricey however.

Enjoyed the catfish topped with baby crab bomb and stuffed shrimp with crab imperial lightly baked. The food was delicious and our server was amazing. Looking forward to coming back.

....was visiting DC again...and thought about trying some crab cakes. Baby! Lemme tell you the Crab Bomb was 10 oz of straight up crab!! No filler! Yummmmy deliciousness! I had aeasonwd potato wedges and a garden salad as my sides. Hubby had the firecracker Crab Bomb which was a spicer version and it too was deeeelish! Mind you the crab bombs are 10 oz of pure-tee carb meat!! Its alot of food! The dinner rolls were HOT and reminded me of my moms yeast rolls....more yummy deliciousness. This was worth the traffic and the 36.mins it took to go 16 miles.

My husband and I had dinner there last night. There was a 45 minute wait so we went to the bar and had fantastic cocktails and crab dip. Our dinner was delicious! We will be back.

I started diving in before getting a photo! My favorite crab cake in this area! Lump crab meat throughout, you can't beat it And the green beans were delicious!

To celebrate my real estate closing we brought my client to eat at Jerry's. Everything was great until hubbys swordfish came out. At first everything was great then we noticed it was raw in the middle. Sent it back and then second came out, this time I took a bite as well. Once he cut in the middle... it was raw! Luckily the manager hadn't moved to far away so we notified him and he quickly apologized and took it off the bill. We of course were grateful but disappointed as it was good ( the parts that were cooked) and we were celebrating. Nonetheless it was a thick piece of fish and we think it's just a offf day. We will return and maybe three times will be the charm. Of course the salmon was prefect, the oysters were delicious!

Excellent calamari, yummy house salad dressing. Others in my party had a haddock sandwich and fried shrimp. Everything was perfect, including the service. The outside eating area is very nice.

Service here started off really slow.. I mean turtle slow, but the food and drink made up for that. As well as my waitress was very diligent in checking on me throughout my meal. I ordered the crab/shrimp baby bomb, baked potato, and salad with their house-made dressing with a mango margarita to drink. That crab/shrimp cake was delicious and fulfilling! Just delightful with no filling. The baked potato was ok. I wished they had shredded cheddar cheese but they only had shaved Parmesan cheese. The salad was a salad, but their house-made dressing was good. The frozen mango margarita had enough alcohol with just the right amount of kick! I'll most definitely be coming back.

Amazing! Always good and always great service. If you're not from the DMV and even if you are. You want to try Jerry's. It will be the best crab cakes YOU HAVE EVER HAD! Here are the dishes we live and recommend: Soup- Maryland crab or cream of crab Salad - all the dressings are homemade- I Love The blue cheese. The rolls are great Crab bomb or baby bomb - this is a must have! Stuffed shrimp with crab imperial - I like it broiled with garlic butter We like the crab dip and crab balls for appetizers when we are dining at the bar.

Had a great lunch here today- restaurant is spacious and nice lighting and furnishings look modern and clean. Waiter and staff were attentive and friendly. The crab dip appetizer was delicious with giant pieces of crab. I got the classic crab bomb which is pricey but a generous portion of jumbo lump crab without other fillers. The mariner platter had a great variety of seafood with the perfect fry in it. I personally loved the scallops- all the food tastes fresh and well prepared. A great meal all around!

Went in for dinner while on a business trip, and was looking for some good crab cakes. Did not disappoint! I had the Firecracker Crab Bomb and it was awesome. Very meaty and perfect seasoning. Good choices of sides and an adequate beer menu. If I were here longer I'd think about going back and going deeper into the menu, but honestly it would be hard to pass over the crab bomb!

Unfortunately, the second time around was no better than the first. Compared to several other seafood restaurants in Maryland specializing in crab cakes, this “crab bomb” is just average, in my opinion. I think the difference is seasoning. There just isn’t enough old bay, although you can add your own, but it would probably be better if it’s cooked in. I will say that you definitely get your money’s worth (because the crab bomb is huge) and it’s all lump crab meat, so I give credit where credit is due. But given a choice, Jerry’s wouldn’t be my recommendation.
