Tried this spot today, ordered Chix & Waffles and 2 Crab Benedict. Place was not busy, couple of tables still available. Waited...nothing...45 minutes, still nothing, got the “one more minute,” and “it’s coming”, but never came.NOOOOO!!! Here’s the clincher, our table has a direct view of inside the counter. I witnessed one of the servers(long sleeve printed top) poured leftover coffee from a tall cup (with stirrer still in it) back into the orange decaf decanter. Not sure how she knows it was decaf when they cleared the tables.I addressed it to one of the servers about it but I got the usual “omg I’m shocked” face then shrugged it off.Okay...we left still without our food. We offered to pay for the coffee but I figured they’ll return them in the pot anyway.Uh yeah...gross.

We've always wanted to try this place out, but on the weekends they are slammed with customers and long wait times. I took that as a good sign, kept it on my 'we should try this place' list, and finally managed to catch it on a quiet Monday morning. The place has a rough roadside diner/dive feel inside. I find places like this ideally have the best food though, so I was intrigued! They are still in full covid safety mode, so the food was served with all disposables. The food did in fact stand alone as pretty amazing!My husband declared the French Toast the best he has had in a very long time, and certainly the best in the area.Unfortunately, my side of hashbrowns was lackluster. (I suspect they were probably made from frozen potatoes and they had zero seasoning/flavor.) I'm guessing they get more orders for their homefries, so I'll try those next time and update my review accordingly!My Eggs Benedict, was absolutely flawless, with perfectly poached eggs and a creamy sauce that was just the right amount of salt/tart to balance the eggs and ham! All in all this was a great stop in and we will definitely be going again, soon!

Joe's American Diner is a hidden gem. What a great place. Food was served hot and as ordered " I had breakfast here ". Staff was very friendly and the amount of food you receive for the price is above average. I will definitely return, 6 stars if it were possible.The French toast is amazing, really.Great job, keep up it up.
