This restaurant is a gem of Lake Ridge. You'll honestly not find such consistently good food and service anywhere else. It's like visiting your Lebanese neighbor's home for dinner. I highly recommend the appetizer platters to get a sense of quality and taste.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. The booth seating minimizes rambunctiousness.

The food is amazing ? ?The staff is very professional and niceAlso, the decorations are pure ArabicIt is the only place i go to after trying all the Arabic restaurants in Budapest when i miss Syrian food since it is similar to lebanese..In my opinion this restaurant is only a restaurant in the city which i can say it is a really good arabic restaurant and represents the good Arabic foodAlso, the desserts and drinks are unique ? genuine Shami desserts ? ? and drinks, especially alcoholic like Arak ???Highly recommended ?Vegetarian options: The Shami cuisine is blissed with a lot of vegetarian and vegan food!
I bought the garlic whip and jalapeños cilantro spread at a farmer's market and was able to sample tons of other flavors. Each one just as amazing as the last. You can tell they really make their stuff with love. I can't wait to get more! Also, the owner I met was an absolute gem!

Was craving for Middle Eastern food, and Layla's did not disappoint. We ordered the Kofta Kabob and Chicken shawarma plus hummus to share between 3 people.The Kofta Kabob was served with grilled veggies and Lebanese rice (rice with vermicelli noodles). Everything tasted great, but the garlic whip was really the thing that made the dish come to life. If you're ordering this, make sure to ask for medium to medium well so the meat retains its juice.The chicken shawarma was also served with a side of veggies and Lebanese rice. The chicken chunks were cooked perfectly and weren't dry like some other places we've tried before. Similar to the Kofta Kabob, the garlic whip really put the dish together.The hummus was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was a good appetizer. Overall, had a great time here and would definitely come back. 5 stars.
