This is the first time ordering food from this establishment and I have to be honest and say this has to be the WORST Chinese food I have ever tasted. I have been all over the world and I have never been served crunchy rice before but today I was and this was not even edible! The sweet and sour chicken was awful. Very small pieces of chicken with a lot of breading and it was hard on the outside and still doughy on the inside. The red sauce was the only thing edible. The service was ok. Total waste of money for sure.

I've stopped by the New China at Staples Mills Plaza for the very first time this weekend and ordered the General Tso's chicken with white rice and steamed vegetables. All of the food was fresh and tasty and the vegetables were prefect! To me the chicken was good, but not spicy enough, however, that may just be due to my spice tolerance :) The portion was really large and I ended up sharing it with my two teen sons who liked the food as well. Last but not least, the restaurant looked clean, had a welcoming atmosphere and all of the staff were very polite, kind and courteous, so overall this was a very positive experience. I don't eat out very often, but I am sure I will be visiting this place again the next time I am too busy to cook.

Been a big Sam-Pan fan in Dale City. Long waits and a decline in the quality of the food there has me willing to try New China. Fried rice and Lo Mien dishes are solid choices. Proteins are plentiful. Generous portions. Online ordering through their sits offers some coupons that are worth a look. You'll save a lot with carry out vs DoorDash or Uber Eats.

I move a fair bit, and I’ve ordered Chinese from a bunch of differnt places, and this was the worst. My dumplings were thick and tasteless like they had been in a freezer and not made fresh.

I was given the wrong food, which I didn’t realize until I got home when I called them to tell them about their mistake I was told to bring back the wrong food. They did make new food, but gave absolutely no compensation from me having to drive all the way back with the wrong food to get the correct food Which they threw in the trash. No customer service when I asked if I could keep the box of fried rice that it come with the wrong order she told me no and then threw it in the trash.

Was disappointed. The chicken was meh and the rice tasted old and gritty like sand in my mouth. $20 is not worth it. The cook needs to go culinary school .
General Tso's Chicken - Dry, no flavor.Chicken w/spicy garlic - no flavor, giant strip of hard celery. Smells like burnt plastic.Kung Pao Chicken - Chewy chicken, no flavor.Fried Rice - what Chinese restaurant has hard rice? Again, no flavor.Egg Rolls - meh.
