This store is a rip-off, everytime that I shopped here (because it's closest to me), I have to check my receipts very carefully before leaving the store and almost everytime I have to go to customer service to get the prices adjusted because the price didn't ring up correctly, so often that the manager probably think that I am a troublemaker. Also I loaded 3 rewards points on my Safeway app and tried to redeem it, it won't redeem and the manager told me to give it a few hours before trying to redeem it, WTF ? Why do I have to comeback to the store to redeem it ? If I see it in stock while I am in the store then redeem, grab and go, right ? But she won't budge and now my rewards expired. For a big corporation they can do way better, instead of ripping people off and giving them a hard time. SO CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS CAREFULLY BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE.

Udated]: ATTENTION MANAGEMENT: I had a very last minute request for a personalized cake. Not only did Amber and Zulma make the most perfect cake it was very moist and delicious (it was gone in 10 minutes) We sincerely thank you for both of your very kind and professional service. I won't be getting my cakes anywhere else!!!

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever received any grocery store product was advertised the register person would not mind would not recognize the price I will absolutely not be back until everyone I know to stay away from the Safeway

I didn't have to sign up to get the savings, just enter my phone number. And I could find the original captain crunch cereal. Food Lion must be having a shortage because I can't get the original. plus it was nice to go in. I haven't seen or been in a Safeway since I was a little girl 40 years ago.

They are really pushing their "drive up and go" service. We received the coupon and gave it a try. What a failure. We sat in the spot repeatedly calling the number listed. No answer for 15 minutes so we went in. Our order wasn't ready. Was not faster. Was not more convenient and was not safer for me or my family. Fail, fail and fail. Shame on you Safeway.

Safeway Pharmacy. I politely asked to change one of my prescription goodrx coupon and got told that I was wasting his time and he will not do that in the future unless I called. He said it is my problem. How is it my fault if the goodrx deals sometimes change? Also, every time i call them, they always sound like they are ready to hang up. No patience and respect whatsoever. The automatic door literally slammed on my arm as I was exiting with my groceries this afternoon. I reported it to the assistant manager, told him I’d been injured. (Minor, just a scrape and a blood blister). Told him he’d better get it fixed, as that would take out a small child and they’d have a law suit. He said that they were aware of the problem! He said, “oh, sorry”. WTH???
