Been going to Sushi Bae for months now... I really enjoy the service & hospitality - and the food is outstanding!

The Lake Ridge area does not have a lot of sushi options. We've ordered from here quite a few times and they've always been pretty decent. It's quick, it's convenient, and we've never had a bad experience until recently. I ordered takeout from here on Saturday and got a tuna roll and spicy crab roll. I got home and ate my tuna roll and it was good as usual. I took a bite of my crab roll and had to immediately spit it out because it tasted rotten. I thought maybe it was just the cream cheese, so I tried that and it tasted fine. I tried the crab and determine it was the crab that was spoiled and spit it back out. I looked at the clock and it was past their closing time so I was unable to give them a call and then had a busy Easter Sunday, and they are closed on Monday which led me to calling them today (Tuesday) I ended up giving them a call today to notify them that I ordered from them Saturday and that my crab tasted spoiled when I ate it and that I was unable to call them that night because they were closed. They asked me if I had proof, and of course I don't. They asked me ok well is there something you are requesting? I said I guess not I just want to notify you that what I had was definitely spoiled, and if you still have that batch of crab it needs to be tossed. They said they throw out all of their ingredients every night and fresh ingredients are used in the morning, and that basically ended the call. I was a little taken back from the conversation and lack of apology from their end. While I guess they did ask what I wanted, I was surprised on how they asked it instead of asking what they could do to make it right, or offering a partial refund for that roll. I think we'll likely be taking a little break from sushi in this house since this is the really the only option within 20 mins of our house. I'm giving them 3 stars because other experiences with them have been good. This one just left a bad taste in my mouth...literally :(

Sushi was pretty mediocre unfortunately. I've never eaten sushi that didn't have rice vinegar in it......?

My favorite sushi place in the area! The fried rolls are absolutely delicious. Food comes out quick and the service is always good. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend this place more. Very mom and pop vibes and the food is excellent. Strongly suggest the cream cheese maki, it is perfect every time!

I did take out so not sure of the service or atmosphere inside the restaurant but the sushi was delicious! We got some appetizers which we enjoyed as well. I don’t remember the name exactly but I believe the specialty roll we tried was, the never know unless you try. It had smoked salmon on top. I never had that before and loved it! I recommend for you to try this restaurant!!

I went to Sushi Bae during the week. The service was outstanding! I ordered the Sweet Heart Roll, I had questions in regards to the ingredients for that roll and they were able to accommodate those request. The only bad thing I would say is I was missing 1 ingredient from my roll which was the eel, but other than that everything else tasted delicious.

Overall a great experience with good sushi, service, and atmosphere! Note that the house sauce has a bit of a kick to it even though it's not mentioned as being spicy on the menu.

Good Sushi, good service and good atmosphere. We like that they have a great selection of vegetarian items. One of the very few sushi places in eastern PWC, with a real "dine-in" atmosphere and that offers a Sweet Potato Tempura roll on their menu.Vegetarian options: They have about 9 different vegetable rolls as well as some appetizers.

Sushi Bae has been going downhill the last year, not sure what’s going on. Sushi is always pretty good but everything else not so much. Ordered Vegetable Tempura and it was a joke, not only did they barely give any vegetables they didn’t give the sauce to go with it. No chop sticks in the bag and only 2 packs of soy sauce for 4 rolls.

Unfortunately, our experience this visit wasn't great. Our food tasted very good, but it was all served at all different times. My husband and I received our sushi first. When we were nearly finished, my niece received her chicken katsu (now served with only one cutlet instead of two for the same price) and when that was gone my nephew received his bento box. Might be okay for takeout but would not dine in again.

We have been on a sushi kick for the past few months, and Bae has proven to be the best thus far. It was pleasing to watch the Master Sushi Chef take such care and pride into the craft of his culinary art. If you are hungry for sushi ?, I recommend the Bae!
