I always receive great service from the produce, meat, seafood departments. This morning, rather than having me come back in 20 minutes, Matthew assisted me with roasted chicken just before they were ready to be bagged and put out. Since it was the last item that I needed to pick up, offering to help without me asking was definitely a highlight to my shopping experience. thank you Matthew!
Today i shopped at Wegmans in Woodbridge, VA. I was looking for a turkey for Easter dinner. I saw a staff person was putting out fresh turkey breasts and he asked what i was looking for. When i told him, he said he would be right back with one and he was. A few minutes later, I asked a young bakery worker if they had any Tuscan bread. He said Yes mam I will get it for you. My favorite grocery store. Traveling through Virginia, stopped for some baked goods. Wegmans always has baked goods especially in the fall. And I love their pumpkin pie. However, all the baked goods today looked like they were dried out and they just looked bad so I didn’t even get the pumpkin pie because it looked like it was cracked and old and dry. I just got a few cookies and they were good, but I still like Wegmans the fruit is fresh
