In addition to the iced coffee I ordered, we also bought a bottled white milk. My son complained of the taste, looked at the bottle and the milk had an exp. date of JUNE 28. Today is JULY 27. When I returned to the store (and made myself 30 minutes late for work in the process), the woman working the counter offered no apology and told me to "just take another one." I asked to speak to the manager, but was told she was "too busy on the phone" to come out. I insisted and the manager was just as rude and made no sincere apology for the error. I rec'd a refund - NOT on the card I used to pay with and wasn't asked what method I wanted a refund on - and was told that I could "just grab another one" on the way out. I declined. I don't know what DD usually does when they almost give a 5 year old food poisoning by handing out expired product, but this was not an acceptable transaction any way you look at it.
