“The food continues to be absolutely fantastic. I don't know what they're doing back there, but magic is happening. That being said, I always have a peculiar experience when eating here. They never seem to know what kind of service they want to provide--table service? seat yourself? Is it a restaurant or cafe? The employees often seem confused themselves as they consistently forget where to deliver food or if the table who has been loitering in the corner even got food in the first place. Furthermore, while the food is indeed always delicious, it usually takes quite a long time to come out and I've had multiple experiences where it takes an hour+ to receive our food because they forgot we ordered anything. I think they might benefit from some sort of strict service structure because right now it's all over the place. To end on a high note, the space is lovely (don't get burned when it gets sunny outside!), the offered provisions are fresh and super natty organic, and I love their coffee and the vessels they come in.”

“We visited several times during our 2 week stay in Bristol, VT--the town itself is quaint and cute (a gem of it's own) and Cubbers was our favorite place to eat From pizza to pasta, soup and salad, everything we had was delicious! Highly recommend!”

“We’ve tried 4 or 5 vermont creemee’s and so far this is the best one. Make sure to add the maple crunch topping to it. The store also sells a few other maple and vermont themed products. The exterior could be a bit cuter / more attractive, but the creemee is A+!”

“Nikki did an amazing job with our frilly retro 70s wedding cake. It looked incredible and tasted as good as it looked, she matched the reference photos perfectly. Our guests loved the vanilla lavender flavor, it was just subtle enough that it wasn't obviously floral and everyone was asking about it. Their coordination with our venue also made everything so easy, it felt like the cake just appeared. Thank you so much!!”

We've tried many restaurants across Vermont and we always come back to Jessica's because not only is the food is always delicious, the service is outstanding. “Traveled to Middlebury, VT. on a Friday afternoon with my sister and brother-in-law. Decided to try Fire and Ice for dinner. Could not have been more pleased with the choice. The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding. Our waiter Ben was so polite, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend Ben. After dinner we took a short tour through the rest of the premises and we met Jenn who we really enjoyed talking to. She helped us almost like a tour guide to understand the layout of the restaurant and some of its history. Thank you so much Ben and Jenn.”

“One of the coolest cideries I've ever been to. Huge facility with endless cider flavors - one more innovative and delicious than the next. And a very cool museum that gives you a behind the scenes look at the cider-making process and the history of Woodchuck and ciders. Highly recommend this as a layover during your next trip to VT.”

“Every meal was delicious. We ate our way through New England towns, and Jessica's was, by far, the best meal we had during our 10 days. Who knew raw brussels sprouts could be so delish? Handmade pasta was exactly what we wanted. Locally processed meats on the charcuterie board melted in our mouths. Maple crème brûlée was divine. And the playlist was perfect! Matthew and Serena are fun and thoughtful hosts. I would expect nothing less from such a beautifully updated inn like Swift House.”

The place is small but fits perfectly as a coffee house worth your visit. Sit inside at the counter and enjoy their vinyl tunes or take your order downtown to explore, either way, you'll be satisfied.”

“As a Vermonter, Woodchuck is the first cider I started drinking (and my favorite). I now live in the Chattanooga, TN area and can only get limited flavors. On a recent trip to Vermont my goal was to go to the cidery and do some taste testing and buy some cider. My friend and I split 3 flights and I bought 3 different ciders. I also learned that Woodchuck is the only importer of Magner's cider, my other favorite. And, psst, they bottle all of Aldi's cider too! (Though they aren't supposed to tell you that, the address on the label says so.) The production line wasn't running, unfortunately, but it was cool to hear how much their production has increased. Now all we need down here is a distributor who'll bring us better selections!”
