This is a really great restaurant for vegan options. I ordered the tofu sandwich and the flavor was perfect. I also tried the poppy seed bread and it was great. The others in my group were happy with their meals as well. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone wanting veggie options!!

Excellent vegan fare and good service. The place isn't great for eating in -- the vibe isn't spectacular -- but the food is very good and satisfying.

Awesome vegan food! The warm kale salad and breakfast tacos are outstanding!

We always thought this was a commercial bakery, so we're thrilled to discover their awesome sandwiches. We had both a delicious spicy tempeh and braised seitan sandwiches. Looking forward to trying more!

Best breakfast in Burlington. I'd drive from NYC to Burlington just for their breakfast tacos. The kindest staff with the freshest bread.

We really enjoy their dessert and their breads and cheeses they make. Some nice variety, the sandwiches are tasty. A little pricey, but their housemate cheeses breads and desserts are so good. The only downside is their hours, we don't get to go often as they are not open very often.

I read "vegan chocolate croissant" and Knead was immediately at the top of the list of places I had to go when I was in Burlington. That being said, it was everything I dreamed it would be.The service was amazing, with everyone taking the necessary health and safety precautions. While some people may not like the aesthetic of the cafe, I find the open, somewhat industrial look and visible kitchen space to be undeniably charming. The menu board was very easy to read and the selection of breads and baked goods were very easy to see form where the line formed, which helped to speed up the ordering process. My family and I shared a chocolate croissant, a cinnamon roll, and some focaccia (not pictured). All of the food was delicious to say the least; we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the day. We even grabbed an extra cinnamon roll on the way out for the next day and it was still soft by the time we ate it!I couldn't recommend Knead enough, and I can't wait for the next time I'm in the area so that I can visit again!

First time at Knead bakery yesterday and had their delicious breakfast tacos and chai latte. Hit the spot! Good spot to meet for a friend or eat solo. Nice staff and everything on the menu looks tasty. I'm not a vegan, however, I'd eat everything here with much glee.

Oh whhat a find! Highly highly recommend this gem. They bake their own bread and other baked good and offer a variety of vegan items sure to please even the non-vegan! We had the avacado sweet potato sandwich and it is sooooooooo good. The flavor profile is sublime. The C.A.T. is an unassuming small bite that packs huge flavor. And then we had a cinnamon roll....oh heavenly. Served warm with generous glaze. I could sit here and eat them all day. Polished this off with a matcha latte with oat milk. Not overly sweet but just right. There are four counter seats and about 8 tables. I notice they also do a brisk takeout. Masks are still required which is nice as it indicates they care about safety.

My kids loved the vegan French toast. The toast was heavy with cinnamon in a good way! They loved the berries and the maple syrup was both delicious and a generous portion. The focaccia was light and fluffy inside and had the perfect amount of crunch outside. It disappeared so fast I couldn't believe it. Once my kids got a bite, I didn't stand a chance. I highly recommend getting at least one piece, or Maybe two if you let your kids try it.

Knead is wonderful! It was the first spot I tried when I was new in town. They made me feel welcome and provided me with delicious food! They make all of their yummy breads daily! My favorite is the caprese and their cheese fougasse! They also have delicious tomato soup and grilled cheese!

The best grilled cheese hands down. The focaccia, cheese and everything in between was heavenly. It's a mandatory visit whenever in Burlington area. Loved every bite of it.

One of the best vegan restaurants we’ve been to! Food was flavorful, carefully made, and priced fairly. I wish we lived closer just so we could eat here often!

THE vegan (and non-vegan) must go to location! Hearty and flavorful sandwiches, salads, drinks, and beautiful breads.I had the side salad which was a generous portion of perfectly dressed kale with a cabbage-carrot slaw that is borderline addictive. Everything was bright, beautiful, and crunchy- everything you could hope for in a salad! So good you’ll treat it as the main star of your lunch! I also had the Breakfast sandwich with Glazed tempeh, kale, caramelized onion, and garlic and herb dijon aioli on an English muffin. This was warm and filling and just what you want on a cold, grey day in Vermont! Very flavorful and a great breakfast or lunch sandwich. The staff at Knead are always so polite and cheerful. I feel a burst of energy just walking into the store. They are relatively quick and have order online options but if you don’t order ahead, be prepared to wait about 5-10min for your order to be prepared. If you have yet to swing by, take your next lunch break to pick up a sandwich or loaf of something tempting.
