An excellent meal. Steak and brisket was great. We want to thank the management for going above and beyond when our order was missing and our kid fell asleep at the table after a long day. We liked our waitress and understood that sometimes stuff doesn't go as planned. Another great meal.

We originally had planned on going to another place for dinner but they were booked. We went down Chruch st. and happened to walk by Sweetwaters and figured we would give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I ordered the ribeye and garlic potatoes which came out super crispy and yummy. My brother ordered the brisket, it was tender and very good but a homemade Mac and cheese would probably pair better with brisket than fries. We would for sure return if in area again.

I didn't grow up with much money, my parents did what they could to feed me day to day but I didn't know any different, it was all I had ever known and I was happy as it was. Going through elementary school I would eat the school lunch because the government would pay for it. To me, the food tasted fine, and I ignored when my friends complained about how bad the food was everyday. All through middle school it was more of the same, but life went on, food was food and I was raised to know to appreciate whatever I could get. Through high school I started to understand how bad the food was that I was consuming at the school cafeteria, it was becoming hard to put down day after day, but alas I would eat it. After graduating high school I went off to college, where I had no money and would have to scrounge for whatever food I could get for the cheapest, which always ended with the worst meals, but alas I would eat it. This past semester I graduated, I got a great job and am financially able to feed myself well. I really thought my days of having to eat terrible meals were over, until I had the wings tonight at Sweetwaters.

I ate here with my family on a weeknight during July. The restaurant was very busy but we were seated immediately, which was great. We had 2 servers as one was being trained. They were both great and very attentive. We shared the smoked wings with dry rub as an app. They were very good. For my dinner, I ordered a chicken wrap. The taste was good but the chicken was a little over cooked. My husband ordered the elote chicken sandwich and said it was tasty. My 12 year old was thrilled with his kids meal of Mac and cheese because it was the boxed kind. He loved it, lol. And my 9 year old had the French onion soup, which I tried a bite of. It was flavorful. The food did take a while to come out, but I did overhear the waitress tel another table that they had a party of 30 inside, so we did our best to be patient. Overall a good experience.

Had a wonderful dinner experience here with 9 friends. We sat outside and had delicious meals. Highly recommend the French onion soup, mussels, and ahi tuna!

Great spot, indoor and outdoor eating. So many options including gluten free. Local beer and cider, full bar. You can hear music when seated outside. Great area to shop and visit

Very good dinner menu here. A great selection of local beers. Really enjoyed the brisket and corn bread. Pleasant setting on Church Street.

Sweetwaters is located in a prime location on Church St. We were in town for the weekend and visited for dinner on a recent Friday night. We had made a reservation in advance and were seated right away (about 10 minutes early). Happily, we were seated outside where we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and the energy of Church St. Both my husband and I had the Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken itself was outstanding. It may seem odd to specifically praise the chicken in a Caesar salad, but it was that memorable. At most restaurants, the chicken that is thrown on top of a salad is "adequate" but this chicken was really delicious. Though it was a very busy Friday night at the restaurant, we never felt rushed. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

This place has two things going for it--and it's not the food. That is consistently mediocre. 1. They are big, so they can usually seat you, and 2. they have one of Burl's best locations on Church St. If you're looking to eat good food, go anywhere else. Apple Cheddar Salad--I swear they went to Trader Joe's, tore open a bag of spinach salad and slapped it on the plate. Shirt Sleeve Chicken Wrap--could NOT have been any drier.

Good food in a lively atmosphere. Polenta fries are tasty, fish and chips were perfectly done. Burger was over cooked but decent. Good beer list includes Alchemist cans and several locals on tap.A bit understaffed but who isn't these days. Our sever was attentive and very pleasant.

Made a quick stop at Sweetwaters for a glass of ale...loved that we could sit outside with our dogs. Very quick service too. Thanks to waiter Matt for offering a bowl of H2O for our four-legged friends.

Stopped by for some dessert and drinks with friends and ended up adding on an extra person and some more food and our server Matt was incredibly accommodating and helpful! Had a great experience, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere even though we were there later in the evening.

The food was average for the most part. However, the pulled pork that we got with the poutine was phenomenal, I ended up eating the pulled pork by itself with a fork. The rest of the food was good, I also got a burger but it was average. If you go here, get the pulled pork poutine!

We had a reservation and they seated us at a less than desirable table. When we asked for a booth that was open, they refused, then proceeded to seat other people in the table we asked for. I ran the front desk of a busy restaurant on the waterfront in Seattle and this is not how you treat guests with a reservation.

We ate dinner here our 1st night in town, house salad, rib eye, brisket and a couple of drinks. The food was great and our server Katie did a good job on a busy night. Leaving town today we stopped for lunch and each had the burger, both cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were great. The Cole slaw had a favorable unique flavor. Madeline our server did very good as well. To the young woman seated behind us, an inside voice is a lot lower than yours, congratulations on the 4 years of celibacy though, glad it’s working for you.
