Food was not good, the fried fish was good but every burger ( we had 3) was overcooked, small, and not good, fries were ok but my friends was burnt. Every cocktail we tried was bad ( we had 4 different ones). And the service was extremely slow, it took us about 2 hours from sitting to leaving with just an app and dinner; trying to get the check was a nightmare.

Service was awesome 5 stars. Loved the atmosphere. The food was good, I enjoyed my BBQ burger but nothing exceptional. If you are in town, definitely stop by.

Very recommend !!!!!!I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The burger I ordered was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted—fresh, juicy meat paired with homemade sauces that were absolutely delightful. Even my child ordered the burger twice because it was that good! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for more.

Food wasn’t that good, the burger was great.Fries are very burnt, small portions and pulled pork could be better. The waiter was super nice and the atmosphere is amazing.I would come for the vibes but not for the food.

My wife and I travel full time. We have friends in the Burlington area and have eaten at The Farmhouse on several occasions. We always find the food and service to be great. If the weather cooperates, their outside seating is recommended.

So glad we came back! Tonight was by far the best waitress we ever experienced. We have gone out to every restaurant from fine dining to casual, new york (where we live) to vermont to Connecticut to delaware to PA and Angie at Farmhouse was by far the best service we ever experienced. Fun, witty, pleasant, and on top of her game she made the experience absolutely wonderful! This girl is keeping customers happy! Best burger in town!

This was a nice spot to get some dinner. We had the fish and chips and the macaroni and cheese-both were great.I ordered a beer which wasn’t to my taste, and the waitress (Angie) was super nice about it. She picked something she thought I’d like as a surprise and it was great! It’s obviously a local favorite, since it was pretty busy. We put our names on the wait list and they called us when a table was ready (~20min). We chilled downstairs and played darts while we waited.Overall, we’ll definitely go back and try the other tasty looking menu items.Parking on-street was a bit hard to find, mostly because of the time. There were no curbs or steps to get in, but the entry has a swing door and a tight turn, kinda narrow hallway, with another door before full entry. Obviously, downstairs is out.UPDATE: Both the bathrooms upstairs have accessible stalls.

We had the best experience at the Farmhouse restaurant in Burlington last Friday evening. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious there. I had oysters as an appetizer and they were to die for, then the salmon as an entree. My husband had the burger with fries. We both enjoyed our dishes very much. The waitress was extremely friendly, warm and went out of her way to accommodate us. The atmosphere was very upbeat. Needless to say we will go back.

Great food! Salmon was perfect and well seasoned and their burgers are perfect! Great place to stop when strolling through downtown Burlington. Extensive beer wine and cocktail menu as well. Their outside patio is perfect.. Heated for when it's just a tad too cold! This was the perfect place for us to stop after the eclipse for a bite to eat! Wait was a little long but considering the number of tourists like us in town understandable.Vegetarian options: Many pescitiarian options and black bean burgers and other items.

Went here for a late lunch. Even given the mid-afternoon timing, it was very busy (20+ minute wait). Our wait staff was great; friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. The food seemed pretty good; my salad was OK.Chief knock against this place is the cost; $250 for six people for lunch. If this were dinner with drinks, appetizers, entrees, and maybe dessert, I wouldn't have given the check a second thought. Seemed very pricey for a lunch meal.

**see update at the bottom**--they fixed their fries!! 5* again! ***Been a happy customer and loyal customer of Farmhouse for years! The burger is the best. BUT, the last two times, the FRIES have been really not good--sometimes I come JUST for the fries. I was there on Sunday and Monday, and both times it was dark, dark brown and/or black. The manager was amazing and accomodating (thank you!)--but the chef couldn't do anything about it. Being a potato fanatic (I have not seen a potato I don't like), I believe the oil you're using is old and rancid, or the fryer is not working properly. Two days in a row the fries came out like it was a huge clump of oil. I"ll upload pictures of what the fries used to be, and what was served this week...hope you can look in to this.OK..the first picture is from this week--black, reused oil, many were burned beyond recognition (this happened twice, and remade ones), and the second is from last Summer--light, golden, and fluffy inside and not oily. What changed?***Update: Just visited again (told you we can't stop coming here when we come)--Kyle the manager (wonderful) told us they worked on the fries, and you know what??!! They are back to the great fries they have always had--thank YOU so much. I still contend they have one of the best burgers in the business, and as another reviewer said, the condiments are wonderful. Keep up the great work!
