“Incredible beers. I don’t usually write reviews but I saw the only review was a 1 star and had to change it. If you like incredibly well brewed, delicate, tart brews then these are your guys. Their very limited supply makes finding the beers even more fun and worth a spot in the cellar.”

The atmosphere great, you could spend hours here just enjoying the moment with your partner or group. They never rush you here. I got a turkey BLT with a side of onion rings, and it was HUGE, delicious, and the Korean BBQ sauce I got with it was IMMACULATE. Second, all the workers were SO nice, they got it done fast, and chatted with me throughout the process. A very welcoming, cozy environment where you feel right at home, but here's the kicker: I'm not sure what the name of the program is, something close to suppers for neighbors or along those lines, but they offer the ability to donate to a fund, which allows for people to come in and order food if they are in need and cannot pay, and the fund pays for it. Absolutely marvelous, 100/10, will absolutely be returning and you should definitely try it out”

“The place was wonderful. Food was great and after eating, we watched the eclipse with the restaurant team (very polite and welcoming to everyone). We sat in the parking lot with a few other that just pulled over to watch the eclipse as well. This is an establishment that really knows how to treat their patrons and keep them coming back!!!!!”

“I go to Vergennes Laundry whenever I can! Entering feels like a warm hug, with the aroma of baked goods in the air. The staff is friendly and well trained. The food is delectable, as is the coffee. Cardamom buns, sour dough croissants, anything from the pastry case! And the Turkish eggs are incredible. You’llalways find a cool treat on the shelves, whether it’s chocolate or a mustard. Make sure to stop by or make a trip. You won’t be disappointed!”

“Highly recommend Black Sheep Bistro. Super cozy, wonderful staff, and delicious food. The Thai broiled haddock is to die for. We love the duck as well. The salads are excellent starters. We haven't tried dessert yet, because the food is so delicious and filling. Thank you and we will be back soon !”

“One of the best omelets and crispy potatoes I've ever had in my life. Fantastic poppers filled with a garlicky butter and very good pumpkin waffles. You can tell that a lot of love, care and technique goes into making the food. Amazing service, delicious food, very bad coffee (which surprised me as they had a really nice coffee machine and since everything else was top notch but it was not good), but a super cozy vibe that I'd look forward to returning to time and time again!”

“This turned out to be a great little place for lunch! I have driven by it many times and mistook it for some kind of an industrial or storage site. I suspect a colorful awning out front would do a lot to make it feel more “restauranty”.There isn’t a huge selection of lunch items and there doesn’t seem to be a way to see which soups are available without talking to someone at the counter, but there’s definitely a lot of ice cream, and the location is certainly convenient for anyone on Commerce st, or the industrial park.”

“Stopped in after a day of skiing this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed their beer. Especially enjoyed New Day, Tropical Illusion, Tru Pils, Proper Mild, and even Winter Warmer. Great variety and laid back atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in the area.”

“This little hole in the wall pub is fantastic! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The bar looks gorgeous. The whole location looks sharp and clean with an excellent bartender to boot. My only criticism is that it could use one more front of the house staff member for when it's busy but that's just an assumption cause the single bartender/ waitress/hostess was handling everything on her own very well while I was there. I'm very impressed will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!!!”

When I was fully awake, I googled to see if that was even a thing. IT WAS!THAT'S HOW I FOUND YOU!I didn't select SUBSCRIPTION (yet!), but within a couple hours, and after looking over all the flavors, I ordered EIGHT PINTS which arrived TODAY, 30 hours later, at 4:20pm (from Vermont to Maryland using FIVE POUNDS OF DRY ICE!) Thank you for superb shipping! After letting them warm up in freezer a bit as recommended, I sampled all 8 flavors.DEEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!!!!!(Can't even pick a favorite since they are all so good!)I also spent some time online watching your informative and sometimes funny/corny videos! “I absolutely love this store. The owners are super nice. The deli is very good. The pizza and everything else is always fresh and wicked good. If the store doesn’t have something you need or want on a regular basis they will order it and start stocking it just for you. It’s nice to be able to step into a store that has that small town feel, with really nice employees. There aren’t many stores that are like this now days. I recommend if you’re in the area and you are looking for something good to eat and you want something fresh, this is the place to go. They are super friendly and very reasonably priced!”

“I came to Vergennes from New Jersey for the eclipse and we stopped at Olsen’s ice cream while we waited for totality. They are easily one of my top 3 favorite ice cream shops. The maple creemee was absolute perfection, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my boyfriend’s tree nut allergy. We watched them sanitize the soft serve machine and even open a new package of sprinkles just for us to prevent any cross contamination. I would make the 6 hour drive from Jersey again just to come here!”

“My wife and I went for lunch, a first time visit, and after we were finished we congratulated ourselves on our choice ! Brian, the owner greeted us warmly, set us up at a nice table and gave us a menu that had thin crust PIZZAS, salads, quesadillas, pasta, mashed potato bowls, mac and cheese bowls and finally hot subs....so many choices that it took several minutes to take it all in. I had the Philly Cheesesteak and my wife the Meatball Parm hot subs both of which were served hot to the touch and very tasty. I was happy to have draft beer while my wife had bottled arizona ice tea from the fridge. TIP: While the locals many of whom were there with us know where Old Orchard Pizza is, visitors may not find it so easily.... SO just look for it behind the Willsboro Pharmacy ....take the driveway next to the pharmacy and head for the apple orchard.”

Essex Ice Cream Cafe not only has amazing food and coffee but also phenomenal service! The owner Todd was very friendly and professional to speak with. I’m glad I stopped in to meet another local business owner, looking forward to shopping there more often!”

“We have been wanting to visit The Starry Night Cafe for years! Driving down Rt 7 it always looked so cozy. We were right, it is super cozy and the food and service were amazing! We ate in a beautiful room with a real wood fireplace, our server was delightful and attentive and made us feel like cherished guests! The food was delicious from the warm grilled bread to start all the way until the sweet maple meringues to end the meal! We highly recommend!”

“This was a cool little grocery store/shop. We stopped in to find some Vermont maple syrup which they had. They have a bit of stuff to look at and a lot of unique stuff and some goofy stuff. Plenty of stuff to buy to bring home to friends and family. If you are nearby it is a good spot to stop at for a little bit.”
