Having a boss who is from Vermont, she said we had to try a Maple Creemee while we were visiting and I'm glad she did. We didn't get a recommendation of where to go so we found this place by searching google maps. The shop is small but cute. There is very little room inside but lots of seating outside on a nice night. The employees were very busy but still very friendly. There was a board with the staff recommendations and I picked from there, helpful for someone who can never make up their mind. I got a Maple Creemee with brownies and the combination was perfect. Some of the creamiest soft serve I've ever tried. They also have tons of other options and scooped ice cream if you're not a fan of soft serve.

Exactly what you would hope a creemee stand/scoop shop would be. There's an enormous maple tree with benches and seats underneath it that acted as an umbrella during a couple of short downpours!

I have come here often during and since the pandemic. I happily waited outside for about 1/2 hour to get to the front of the line only to be told they were all out of dairy free options. Please post a sign from now on so I don’t stand on line for no reason.

This is my absolute favorite ice cream spot. I often call myself a "Village Scoop Loyalist" because, yes, I live closer to other ice cream locations, but I drive out of the way to go to the Village Scoop. The staff is awesome. The drive-through line moves quickly because of their order-taking system (they take turns coming out to your car and then you pay at the window). I bring my dog for a pup cup and she knows the name Village Scoop. I go here often during the summer and fall. I'm always sad when they close for the season and so excited for their opening day.
