The Yurt looks like a very nice establishment for a mid day ski break. My party of 4 arrived on Saturday, 1/27/24 and put our name on the list. There were a few parties ahead of us; were told to come back in 45-50 minutes. We did a few runs and returned in the 45-50 minutes, to be told it would be another 45-50 minutes. At this point we were frustrated and decided to eat our lunch elsewhere. Very unfortunate as we would have liked to try lunch here.

Wow, what a disappointment. We went for dinner pre-pandemic and what an amazing experience.We just went back for lunch last week and 8 of us had one of the worst meals we've had in a long, long time. It was marginally better than food you'd get on an airplane and the portions were were so small you would have thought you ordered off a kids' menu.Sadly I would no longer recommend.

We had been to the yurt when it was still open for dinner and the experience was truly amazing. Post-pandemic I think they are only open for lunch. We stopped in with some friends and were excited to be back. Unfortunately our experience was pretty terrible. The food was nothing special and the portions would barely be enough for my 6 year old. No one in our group was impressed. Pretty unfortunate as it used to be a great spot.

Little hidden restaurant and bar. Not bad wait around lunch time. Grab a drink and wait outside while they call your table. Loved all their soup and sandwich options. And not a bad price for being on mountain

Excellent unexpectedly classy spot that you *must* visit, and come hungry! We expected a camping yurt, not what we found. Be sure to look at both sides of the menu, we almost missed it and a few others said they thought it was only soups and salads... but it's a full kitchen with top notch food and a wonderful wine and beer selection, including mulled wine that was amazing and exactly what we needed after snow shoeing there. (you can also ski in!)

Nice setting, the place feels a bit like a yurt and a bit like an upscale restaurant. A place with a better quality food on the mountain.
