“The New American Grill has a VERY friendly atmosphere and consistently good food. The menu is diverse and satisfying . There is a local vibe amplified by local (open mic) and regional accomplished musicians. God options at the bar.”
“Best diner food I've had in a long time! Good service and a cozy place. I highly recommend the Monte Cristo which is an excellent sweet-savkry sandwich using the fluffiest French toast as the bread.”
“Stopped in with my friend for our stay from RI; Went and had a steak and cheese which was excellent!! (Huge may I add) my friend had a French onion soup and was delicious she said!! Highly recommend because I’m a picky one and it was great! The waitress was very nice!”
“Great food, service and ambiance at Stratton! It was my husband's birthday and after we were seated they brought over a complimentary glass of champagne- very nice touch! Food was great and service excellent - will definitely go back.”

“Had dinner at The Left Bank last night and wanted to spread the word. Everything from the warm inviting room to the knowledgeable and attentive service to the fine cuisine itself was first rate. We are particular and our bar is very high if we are going to eat out at all -- but The Left Bank is worth the trip. Shout out to our lovely server Charma who made our evening that much more special.”
“Title: A Sweet Treat at Grandma Miller's!Review:Grandma Miller's is a delightful pastry store that truly knows its craft. We tried an array of their offerings including coconut chocolate chip, raspberry horn, donuts, and a lemon scone. Each item was a burst of freshness and flavor, clearly made with love and care. The coconut chocolate chip was a perfect blend of tropical and sweet, while the raspberry horn was tantalizingly tangy. Their donuts were light and fluffy, and the lemon scone had just the right amount of zest. We couldn't resist taking some of their delicious cake and chocolate chip cookies for the road. The cozy seating area inside added to the charm, making our visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!”
“Stopped by for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. Delicious sandwiches and iced coffee with iced coffee cubes! Ate lunch on the back deck looking over the river. Great food in a beautiful setting :)”
“Stopped by after spending 2 nights at nearby camp. The line was long but the conversations made it fun to wait. Pretty good Iced Chai for hubby & my Iced Maple Latte was delicious and I don’t even like cold coffee! Pleasant service.”
“We were driving through the area when we realized we needed dinner so we stopped here. They had one thing on the menu, bacon cheeseburgers w/ roasted potatoes, which we took to go. It's small space and they focus on local producers, so I understand having a limited menu that changes daily. They also had a nice selection of packaged items to purchase. We had to reheat the meals by the time we stopped, but they were still delicious! A cozy café and a great way to showcase the local agriculture.”
“Was at Esmeralda’s Pachamanca dinner gathering. A truly life experience. Maria Rondeau and JuanMa Calderón’s experimental restaurant breaks new ground in F2T eating. A must on any real foodees checkbox”
“If you're looking for a great greasy burger you can't go wrong here with anything on the menu. The pie is also fabulous, if I'm picking up dessert to bring to someone's house, this is my go to. The best way I've heard the pie described is it is kind of like a caramel custard.”
“Underground Coffee Roasters in Vermont deserves an unequivocal five-star rating for its outstanding commitment to the art of coffee, creating an experience that coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike can't help but love. The cozy ambiance of the underground space provides the perfect backdrop for savoring expertly roasted and brewed coffee. What truly sets this roastery apart is their divine maple latte--a local favorite that has captured the hearts (and taste buds) of everyone who walks through the door. The subtle sweetness of Vermont's signature maple flavor harmoniously blends with the rich espresso, creating a latte that's both comforting and indulgent. The staff's passion for coffee is palpable, and their friendliness only adds to the overall charm of this hidden gem. Underground Coffee Roasters is undeniably a must-visit spot for those seeking an authentic and delightful coffee experience in the heart of Vermont.”
“Wanted something different before we headed to Killington (after a day of skiing Stratton). This restaurant is a little hole in the wall place, only a couple of tables. Mostly was people waiting to pick up pizza. We didn't feel like pizza so we ordered sweet & sour chicken and a General Tso chicken. The sweet & sour was just okay, sauce was a little watery but the portion was large and hot! The General Tso was great! Would definitely give them a try again! Staff was very friendly and working their butts off!”
“Grizzly's is the perfect stop after the slopes! We come back for the phenomenal wings. & We love our waiter Tiny!!! He was clearly working hard and made us feel taken care of despite the busy crowd. Thank you Tiny and all of Grizzly staff!!!”
“Absolutely love Johnny Seesaw’s. I discovered this place when I was in the area for snowboarding. I’ve been here a total of 3 times since. The food is delicious. My favorites are the fried brussels sprouts and bolognese. Amazing staff as well. I felt very welcomed each visit.I will be back each time I’m in the area during the ski/snowboard season.”
“Ask the bartender how they make the Bloody Mary. If you aren’t completely wowed, check the shingle out front…you might have the wrong place. The Bloody Mary’s are ?”
“It was a pleasant surprise to find a local spot in Vermont that actually serves Italian style dishes that are comparable to the ones in NJ! The food was great (we had a whole pie with half pepperoni, penne alla vodka with shrimp, and a chicken roll) and the portion was very generous! There were tables to eat in. The only thing that confused us was their menu containing Asian cuisine, along with the Italian cuisine. But yeah, they knew how to cook! The only downside was that the cashier was a bit "out of it" and had no common sense. We are a family of 4 with younger kids. We ordered the food and implied that we'd be eating-in by grabbing a table and settling in (and tipped rather generously) but the food didn't come. After nearly a half an hour, I was forced to check with the kitchen, at which time, they said the food was ready and they were waiting for me. I told them I've been waiting at the table, then they asked me if we were eating in. I told the kitchen staff yes, and they started changing the plates. The cashier? She didn't even care while this was going on.All in all, the food was great and we were happy, except for the cashier's job (or the lack thereof).”
“This place is incredible. What an upgrade over the old place. Can’t wait to see what else the new owners do for it. This is going to be everyone’s new favorite après ski.”
“The food here is phenomenal every time I stop here. Staff is super friendly and helpful! They definitely have the best breakfast sandwiches within an hours driving distance! I always make sure to stop here whenever I'm in town”
“The food was so good when I was there recently with my family My sister is still talking about the great hamburgers and the fun decor even though it was 4 weeks ago. Food, service, ambiance, value, everything was perfect and exactly what we were looking for for a lunch time stop. I will be back.”
“The food was good the service was excellent and out good came in readable time evenwith all the crowd that we had when we arrived 100/100 brownie points for all the staff and don’t even get me started on the food the food was hot and deliciousssss ?? ”
“Liz was absolutely amazing. We visited the deli 3 times during our weeks stay. She always welcomes you in with a hello. The sandwiches were amazing. If we ever make it back to Stratton we would definitely visit her ”
“I have eaten here in the past and it was fine, but my most recent trip was excellent. The restaurant seems to be under new leadership. The menu is great, service exceptional, and food was perfect. I ordered the strip steak and asked for it to be cooked a very particular way. I rarely order steak at a restaurant unless I know for sure it will be great, but I took a chance this time based on the recommendation of the server. The steak was prepared exactly as I asked it to be. But on top of that, the meat was really special. A strip steak is usually a little on the tougher side compared with a ribeye and filet, but this one had the texture of a filet and the taste of a strip. It was also prepared in a way that indicates they are doing something special behind the curtain. They have a flame grill but there was a crust on my steak that indicated they were doing something more than simply grilling it. Maybe it was a butter bath, or the seasoning, but whatever they did it was amazing. It was also a very clean piece of meat, no chewy bits, the fat was trimmed, and it just looked beautiful on the plate. I wish I had taken a photo. Overall, a great experience.”
“WHAT A VIBE!!!!! Super chill and relaxed atmosphere in the basement. There is tons of wall art, signs, stickers, and old boards to look at while hanging. Theres also pool tables and foosball!! It's definitely a perfect place to grab a drink after a long day on the mountain.I'm sure this spot gets rowdy at night, but I've never hung around long enough to find out. Come just for a beer and the apres ski experience, you will not be disappointed!!!!!Oh, and the whole place has cheetah carpet!! I mean... need I say more?Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Must show ID.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not appear wheelchair accessible that I could tell. The entrance is going down a bunch of steps into the basement. It is possible there is an elevator, but doubt it.”
“Never disappointing. The food was great. Staff always professional and friendly even on a busy night. Not inexpensive but to be expected at a ski resort Wine and cocktails never disappoint”
“Stayed in Vermont for a few days with the family. It was challenging to find places to eat as many were closed on Monday, Tuesdays and/or Wednesday's. Mulligans was open on a Monday so we decided to give it a try! It's located in the Stratton Mountain resort, in an area known as "Stratton Village" and it is, as You can imagine from the name, a pub with pub food....and then some. There was outdoor, covered patio seating, but we choose to eat indoor as it was rainy and humid. We were promptly greeted and seated. For one of the few places open on a Monday, it was busy, but not overly so. We started with the pretzel sticks and nachos. Plenty for 5 people. The nachos were huge and loaded. Dinner included the lobster special (2, 1.25 pounders, steamed for $28) which were enjoyed. I had the salmon salad, which was...okay....the salmon was over cooked, which I find typical at most restaurants. The salad was ample, but lightly dressed. Other orders included cheeseburger and fries, chicken wings (plain) and warm lobster roll, which, like the steamed lobster special, was ample, and delicious. The service was delightful, by a very accommodating server named "Susan" who was friendly, attentive and just an all around nice lady. We had fun, we left full, with leftovers and a good time was had by all....and we were thankful they were open on a Monday!!”

“We visited Solo Farm and Table as part of a group of six on a busy Thursday night at the end of October. We were served a set menu of seasonal ingredients, many local and some from the restaurant’s garden, in a beautiful, 19th Century in, cooked with skill and presented with care. Some of our party struggled with the lack of choice, but what we were served was fabulous. A tomato amuse bouche and a squid ink dish will live long in the memory. It was the best meal we ate in our trip through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. What really stood out though was the joy all the staff brought to their work. This is a wonderful establishment and the team is clearly and justifiably proud of what they serve. It was a privilege to share in it.”
