“We’ve just had a fantastic breakfast here. The waitress was great too! We had to try everything we had never heard of!! The biscuit with the gravy was so good. Home fries were great too. Not so sure about the grit cake. And the pancakes were divine! We won’t be eating again today!!“

“We were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar on a busy night and were very impressed with the food and service. The bartender (can’t recall her name but she was a redhead) was amazing- super fast, efficient and friendly. We thought the food was great. Would definitely recommend“

“Our best meal while in Stowe. You should call and make reservations as it is a smaller place. The atmosphere is great with mood lighting, conversation and live music. Great for spending time with friends and family. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered and shared with the group focaccia-brown butter & garlic confit, elmore mountain bread, whipped ricotta, i forestieri olive oil $12, croquettes- sweet potato, green onion, lemon & caper aioli $12, baked brie crème- rosemary, winter truffle, roasted baguette $18, to start. We each got a main dish. Our favorites were the croquettes, gnocchi romania and pappardelle. But it was all delicious. Wonderful ending to our trip.“

“Delicious sandwiches, diverse options for hot and cold. I got a BLTTA (turkey club with avocado), and the veggies were fresh, there was a good amount of crispy bacon, and enough mayo/avocado so it wasn't dry at all. Honestly one of the best versions of this classic I've had. I sampled the Vermont press and that was excellent too! Will definitely stop by again when grabbing lunch around here.“
“Absolutely gorgeous place with views and beautiful architecture nestled in the historic and iconic Von Trapp Estate. Before going any further, a few important recommendations for newcomers: 1. Make reservations. You may make them on the Yelp app. 2. If you don't have reservations, come over early. Like opening time... 3. If your beer taste excludes anything that is not an IPA, you may be disappointed. Their brews are by and large, alpine-style Pilsners 4. They get really really busy. Tables outside the bar areas are for full service only We came here on Stowe's ski season closing weekend, on a sunny day, meaning that by 1030 our quads were screaming in agony from skiing the soft snow that began to feel like cement. With time on our hands, we decided to have lunch at this idyllic property, still in the hands of the original family. We arrived here and were at the door at 11:15 for an 1130 reservation, luckily being one of the first customers walking through the doors. The building is quite expansive, with an imposing alpine architecture that compliments the beautiful Stowe countryside. Outside, the groups of people playing frisbee golf added to the ambiance. We were seated in a beautiful covered porch that winds around the property, with stunning views. Service was flawless, with the waiter filling us on some of the historical details of the property. An advantage of being early, as the place was quickly becoming a beehive of activity. We began our lunch with the Bavarian Pretzels which came with a delicious mustard and I tried the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich washed it down with a West Coast Pilsner, which turned out to be their hoppiest selection, approximately resembling an IPA. Superb time here. The gift shop at the entrance is worth a visit.“

“We had the pleasure of experiencing Greek night at this establishment, and it was an absolute delight. The buffet-style setup offered a tantalizing array of Greek dishes, all served hot and bursting with flavor. From savory rice to succulent lamb and stuffed cabbage, each bite was delicious!! The option to dine in or take out made it convenient for any occasion. The friendly customer service added to the overall positive experience. At $12.99 per pound, the value was exceptional for the quality and variety offered. The cleanliness and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant sealed the deal for us. Very casual! Great for an easy meal after skiing, hiking, or biking! Without a doubt, one of the best meals we have had in Stowe! 5 stars!“

“This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. They are always busy, but no matter how busy always friendly and attentive. Waitstaff really hustles. Highly recommend the Hunan Triple. Lots of veggies cooked just right with Shrimp, chicken, and beef in a great sauce.“

“Went for some vt beer and something to eat. We were not disappointed. Spoke to the bartender who is the owner or one of them. Very welcoming and attentive. The beers were cold and fresh tasting. Thad two smash burgers and fries. The salad was excellent as were the burgers and fries. It was cold outside but warm and inviting inside. Excellent job for displaying what Vt has to offer in the brew pub experience.“
