I will give Hannaford five stars. We are traveling. In Vermont and up on the mountains was so happy to get some grocery shopping done in a really together market. Found everything we looking for and more! Very clean store as well. Happy staff. Tks.

I called the store to see if they're open. There's literally no options to press a number for "hours" only holiday hours. I finally choose a random option where a human answered. I ask if they're open. "No, not open." Ok, bye. What is wrong with businesses here? Why do people think excluding regular and current hours of operation in ALL of their various options to choose from in their automated VM system is not important to people driving to their store? Sunday night at 9:30pm. Figured I should call, and I'm glad I got through to a human.

Went here after work excited for some good sushi or a bento box and their was no sushi in the cooler and when I asked if I could get some the man behind the counter told me I have to order the day before? I just wanted a roll man . I guess I'll try again some other day.

This Hannafords is my go - to grocery store. I can always find what I'm looking for and much more. They have a good selection. Sometimes I find myself being adventurous and buying something other than the usual.Like already mentioned, the lines move fast and there is usually 2 or more lanes open, service is friendly, pleasant and sometimes even strikes up small talk. I might try out the new hannaford to go feature on the weekends that I work, needing food in the house and having to shop after 12 hour shifts is pretty draining!

I'm super happy with Hannaford's new grocery pickup service. The online shopping experience is so convenient, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If they're out of stock on an item they'll find a suitable replacement unless noted otherwise. This saves about an 45 minutes of my time each week!

Hannaford Saint Albans has had a superb facelift! The store looks great and is a pleasure to shop in. Always friendly help here and I'm never finding myself stuck in the one cashier line that is open, they do well to keep things moving on the front end. Deli and seafood counters are very friendly. I've always got the help I needed from all counters here (haven't had to use the Bakery counter yet). The lay out is ok other than the fact that at some point the aisles don't align so you have to sort of turn a corner to see the aisle signs to know what those particular aisles contain. So I sometimes get a bit reversed when trying to figure out where stuff is. But as I said, the new refinishing is making for wide aisles and clean appearance. I don't always find what I look for on every trip either so it seems the inventory can be spotty on certain weeks.

Just stopped in to get basics here after pulling into St. Albans last night at the start of a 13-week contract. Looks like a nice market. Good produce section, deli, beer selection.
