I was welcomed immediately upon entering the restaurant. I saw a nice bar with TVs around that looked inviting! However, I opted for a table and had immediate attention. I ordered a beer cheese soup and prime rib. The soup was amazing. The prime rib was pretty good, too. Recommend!

Great local spot. Food is always good. Live music on weekends, we try to go every time the Blue Rock Boys play.

My colleague and I decided on the foundry because it was a short walk from our hotel. The poutine appetizer was good; fries could have been crispier. We each had steaks and they were cooked to our liking.

My husband and I are vegetarians. We saw the vegetarian meatloaf on their on-line menu but didn’t realize it wasn’t offered on tonight’s menu. But the chef was amazing and made it special for us anyway. You never see that. We had the Brussel sprouts too. All the food was so good. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its food and high level of customer service.

Family gathering of about ten. Servers were fantastic, everything hit the table same time and everyone had ordered different meals. The food was great and everyone fully enjoyed their dinners.

This place is about a block off the main downtown street. I was staying at the Hampton Inn around the corner and got a 10% discount. The food was excellent, as was the service. I was there on a Saturday night and live music was starting at 6:00. I came in a little before 5:30 and had no trouble getting a table. When I left a little after 6:00 the line was almost out the door. Very popular place.

We stayed in St. Albans for 4 days. We ate at the Old Fondry and it was great! My husband had their Caesar Salad with chicken and I had their fish and chips. My husband's salad was good; their fish and chips were "hands down" the best fish and chips I have ever eaten! Our waitress was attentive and very pleasant. We highly recommend the Old Foundry.

average food, should have been better for the price we paid. not the best service. Staff seemed hurried. Sat at the bar, bartender was also waiting on tables, forgot our coffee and silverware. Took a long time to take our order, we were the only ones at the bar. Asked other staff for help with those, seemed understaffed perhaps. We were just driving thru, but would most likely not go there again if we ever drive that way again. The building i very nice though as was the outdoor seating area, we had high hopes/..

This downtown restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel manager checking us in on our arrival at the Hampton Inn in Saint Albans and was, in fact, just down the block. Although we arrived around 6 PM, the place was already crowded and obviously a very popular place. We didn't have a reservation but were seated anyway since the next scheduled reservation was for seven and we promised to be gone by then :-). The staff was attentive and the food was simply divine. We never expected to come across such a find in the downtown area but will be sure to return next time we are in the area.

I have eaten here about 5 times. I know not a lot. I have always been impressed! Today I had chicken enchiladas for lunch and it was so good I wish I had them for dinner! Carne asada fries and the California burrito are fantastic too

The food is good and its normally quick. I just get let down when they are out of steak lol But taco Tuesday is the best!

Good Americanized Mexican food. Horchata is pretty good. Taco's are the best.
