The grilled cheese was delicious and the chips were very nice. My friend ordered it with kimchi and we were both satisfied. I ordered a coke as well and he ordered a beer and enjoyed it. It was not too noisy as they were only open for the eclipse. Service was relatively fast. Overall would rate a 10/10, would eat here again

This place has such unique and delicious beer! The food is amazing as well. I can't wait to visit again and try more of their beers.

A truly special place for a quick light lunch, a fantastic brew or a night out with friends or date night. This namo brew pub is run with dedication to the craft of delectable foods and one of a kind unique and delicious beers. With an ever changing list of offerings every visit is a new adventure for the taste buds. In the evenings an ever changing offering of entertainment from poetry to pub song sing alongs and live music.... It is a must stop when in the area. The staff is truly friendly and sincere in all their interactions with the patrons. The owner put heart and soul into his craft both in the kitchen and in his creation of his signature brews. This establishment is an absolute must visit if in the area or a small business that should and must be supported by locals.

Stopped by for some delicious beer, some of which were made with ingredients like from pumpkins that came from Shawn Goldman's farm.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary lunch at Whirligig Brewing yesterday. What impressed us was Chef Geoff's considerate care with my husband's soy allergy. He prepared a soup that was delicious and soy free. I had a wonderful grilled cheese & Kimchi sandwich. Absolutely mouthwatering! We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant when you are in St. Johnsbury.Geoff and JanetWaterbury, Vermont

It is always a fun experience at Whirligig. Geoff, Debra, Max, and all the crew make us feel right at home. Excellent selection of beer and sake. The menu has really come a long way in the last year since they expanded the kitchen...both lunch and dinner are exceptional. Don't pass through St. Johnsbury without a stop here!

The beers here are so tasty and fresh and the food is cooked to order and absolutely delicious. Just looking for a local joint after a day of hiking and we found this little gem. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Didn't expect too much, honestly. They have a lot of seating outdoors off the sidewalk. The inside is pretty small with a small kitchen. They have 2 employees, bartender/server and a cook. You're told you can only order from the bar. I thought their Strawberry Shortcake was okay. It could have had more flavor in it. The food looked okay as it was being served to others (we didn't order food). There's one bathroom and some old magazines sitting on the bench in the hallway. It sounded like the AC unit was going to explode. It was loud.We were visiting the area, so we were just passing through. The service could have been more friendly.

Cider that I had was only ok. I felt that the service was a little rude. I picked up one of their magazines to flip through, and it was wet and sticky. Positives- decent size drink list. If this wasn't in direction of my route, I probably would not have stopped.

My wife and I had such a great experience here. The beer is so good - you can tell it’s brewed in small batches with lots of love. The IPA was my favorite! The only thing better than the beer was the staff. Jenna and Deb - thank you so much for your hospitality. You made our experience at Whirligigs memorable and we will be sure to be back!

Stumbled upon Whirligig Brewing with my husband this afternoon and so glad we did! Chill atmosphere, good beer selection (especially if you are a sour beer fan) and the food was not at all what you typically find at a brewery. And that was a major selling point for me. Loaded kettle potato chips with smoked in-house shredded rib meat and raclette cheese - outstanding!! Many other great choices including full on raclette with fingerling potatoes (maybe next time when it’s not 90 degrees out). Jeff, the owner, is both brewmaster and chef and uber talented at both. Max, the bartender, was friendly, personable and attentive. Seriously a great experience overall. Highly recommend!

An refreshing spin on a brew pub. There is a heavy Asian (Japanese mostly i believe) influence on both the food and drink menus. I had the Gohan (rice lager made on site) and some snow maiden sake at the suggestion of the bar keep. The beer was great, much different than my normal tastes but it was smooth and tasty. The pork belly and Kimchi rice bowl was phenomenal - perfect amount of spice (I tend to like spicier foods than most so beware if you are sensitive). I would definitely go back here more often if I did not live so far away.
