What a terrific evening! Decided to head over to the Islands this evening for a wonderful meal at the Blue Paddle. Mandy and Chef Phoebe made our weekend! Delicious short ribs and risotto for Jack, delectable salmon Caesar for me! Molten chocolate lava cake for Jack, raspberry drop for me---perfect ending to our meal. We were in town for the eclipse and had the great good fortune to find the Blue Paddle moments from our campground. We had dinner on Friday night and it was so amazing we returned for brunch on Sunday. The Friday night PEI mussels were out of this world and absolutely the best mussels I have EVER had - including many enjoyed over the years on PEI. Put an absolutely delightful spot to dine. We were greeted with friendly exuberance by the owner, our meal was excellent, service was perfect, and we felt truly welcome. This is the kind of place that always has repeat customers because the whole experience is exceptional.
