What this area has needed for ages. A good southern style Bar B Que place. With DRY RUB wings. Pork was some of the best I have had anywhere. Sides and appetizers were plentiful. Fresh. Great friendly service. I can’t wait to go back

Best BBQ wings EVER!!! Sauce is delicious and cooked to a nice crispiness without being overcooked. The burrata salads are amazing!! Peach in summer or Pear in winter. Both are amazing. I could literally go on and on about the menu, service, atmosphere, events, and live music. Best place to spend an evening in Stowe enjoying food, cider, and tunes!

Good vibe, decent food portion with a wide variety of drinks. Ribs are tender, but my friends and I wish pulled pork to be a little juicier. Good place to chill after a long ski day overall.

Had a great visit. Awesome place for gluten free food options, which my family is always looking for when traveling. We ended up staying for the music which was so fun and a great added bonus! Had a great time! Thanks and see you next time we’re up in Stowe.

We ate at Shakedown Street on a recent trip to Stowe and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Excellent food, great ambiance, and friendly service. I recommend the ribs, they’re spectacular. We’ll be back on our next trip to Stowe.

Service was fantastic!!! Atmosphere was your normal brewery feel, nothing fancy, low key clean and quiet. Which we enjoyed. Previous review on restroom is accurate, it’s a shared bathroom both sides so take your chances. Now on to the food. We ordered the ribs, turkey leg and cracklins appetizer. The portions were very generous. The taste was not what I would say fantastic 5 star bbq but it was decent. The turkey leg was smoked well but bland and dry. The ribs were fall off the bone but that was the extent of it. The potato that came with the turkey leg was boiled potato and then sprinkled with cojita cheese nothing exciting. The description made it sound better than it tasted. The cracklings made with maple syrup was the one item that was delicious, smoked and seasoned well. This would not be a repeat for us for food but all else I would say yes as a repeat. I wouldn’t tell you not to go. Everyone’s taste is different, but overall the great service and good automsphere it’s worth a visit.

My adoration for Stowe Cider is boundless, and it has been such a pleasure watching the business grow and grow while finding a balance between appealing (and appeasing) locals and tourists.Owner Mark, who our server said was the coolest boss, he ever had, took us in on the busiest town night of the year. My husband ordered cracklins and made faces of joy I've never seen. The veg options for me, are limited, but solid and run the gamut from healthy to deep-fried; go knowing it is a bbq joint. The chips and guac and fried zucchini starters are meal-sized.Music infuses the space from two different stages, and colors the walls. Finally, the cider standout from the three visits I made over our annual week in our beloved mountain town was the new Spruce Peak offering. Golden Apple selections can't come soon enough, because I'll be out of our stash sooner than later. All love to Team Stowe Cider.

A sorry excuse for a restaurant. Cold food and terrible service.

The food was great the two times we went. They had a variety of different types of meat. We are from texas and the smoke on the meats was spot on. The chicken nachos half portion was plenty!

Driving through the area from Florida and just by luck we found this place. I’m on a diet that restricts carbs to zero, so sometimes eating out is difficult. I ordered the pulled pork platter but told the lady taking my order to hold all the sides. The manager heard what my issue was and went to adjust the price. I asked if he could keep the price the same but add a little more pulled pork. No problem. The food and atmosphere was great but the management was even better.

Mark, Keith and the staff was very nice about showing me their establishment and talking business as I am in the BBQ business myself in Long Island, NY. Only disappointment was that they didn’t offer Beef Brisket during the week; settled for the Brisket Chili and it was spot on! Wife had the Yellow Submarine and was delicious.
