Overall, I would not recommend coming here. The sushi tasted fine but was a small portion. That's okay to me because sometimes quality over quantity matters... But it did not sit right with my stomach at all and I am a huge sushi fan and lover.The tables in the bar section are so gross. I am not sure what the material is but it doesn't seem like it is restaurant grade... They were all sticky and ours hadn't even been wiped down well anyway. Additionally, the water smelled/tasted so musty. It smelled like a dirty dish rag that was left to sit in a hot room. I don't know if it was the glass, the water, or the ice. Either way it was sickening.The server was nice enough when we got there but she never once came back to check on us even though we were one of like 3 parties in the entire restaurant. We had to wait at least 15 minutes (from when I checked the time) to even get our check. She never even asked how the food was or anything.Last time I came to this restaurant was like 5 years ago and things were totally different. Not sure if we caught them on an off day or what. Won't find out either because we will definitely not be going back. I would definitely recommend checking out Koto in South Burlington, they're awesome.

I've been coming here every time I've been in stowe for the past 16 years. I forgot to bring my ID today and they refused to serve me. I have a picture of it and I'm a bartender in NYC and we accept photo ID all the time. I'm 31 years old with wrinkles and grey hair and brought 5 other 30 year Olds from out of town to visit. We were talking this place up about how much we like it and go here every time and you guys completely ruined it and missed out on business

Excellent sushi, sashimi, appetizers. So good we're go every few weeks. We're never been disappointed. Bianca makes the visit extra special! Looking forward to our next visit. Maybe the notch will be open too!!
We always have a great time coming here. The staff and servers are always awesome. We haven’t found one bad thing on the menu. They hit all the bases from the basic to crazy adventures. There is something for everyone here. The atmosphere is great as well, they have indoor and outdoor seating. They even have a pit fire to sit around outside. Don’t miss out on this fabulous place.
We ate wonderful sushi and the prices are very reasonable! They have fast, friendly service too. Will go back!

Great place for food and a drink after a long day in the mountain! Drinks range from beer, wine, sake, to specialty cocktails. Want to start your Apres Ski off right? Order a Scorpion Bowl to share with a friend. The Sake selection is really good as well, we went with the Snow Beauty which is a favorite of ours. All our meals were delicious. Some ordered sushi the vegans ordered teriyaki tofu and General Tso's tofu all were happy. Great place to go to with a mixed dietary restrictions crowd as they have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The service was friendly and attentive making the experience all the better. Even if we were to head out for just drinks we would pick this place for the warm atmosphere and over all good vibe.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options easily found on the menu. Tuna was not proberly cleaned. I called a month in advanced for a birthday reservation. They forgot it was birthday, we ordered dessert and they did not even bring a candle. We were seated on hibachi, the cook was also not great (he did the bare minimum). They dont give salad with hibachi experience. The portions of the sauces very small. Rice could have more vegetables and be more cooked. The filet mignon was good.
A great meal! Fast meal service and our waitress was very nice. Can't wait to go back and eat
