The gorge is incredible, and so is the Snack Bar, but it's the shopping that will grab your attention. I've never seen such a selection of Minnetonka shoes in my life. Men, women, and children can all find great footwear. My wife and I love Minnetonka shoes. So comfortable.
This is a walk up snack bar. You order and they have outside tables under a roof covering. They are often busy but the lines are not bad. We often go for the ice cream. We split a sundae and are usually very full. Their fries and shrimp are good. The pulled pork just okay. If you are not a Vermonter you must have a maple creamee. Otherwise you missed Vermont.Parking: Easy parking right outside of the place.

We discovered the Snack Bar when searching for a place to eat a late lunch after riding the Northern Rail Trail. The chicken tenders were the best we've ever had! Gigantic portions served piping hot with more fries than we could eat! Kudos to the staff comprised of 2 women, who patiently served throngs of leaf peepers from all over the country!
