We are embarking on a cross country road trip and trying out all different breweries along the way. Finally got to Vermont, and when we stopped here we discovered they were closed for a staff party. Don’t get me wrong, staff should absolutely be celebrated, but we planned this for months and there was no mention of it anywhere. Google said they were open. Their website said they were open. Finally found mention of it on an Instagram story posted one hour before they closed. How would you expect out of towners to be following you and see a story? At least make it an actual post. Guess we will never get to try this place.

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. The sandwich looked good side, but the chicken portion of the sandwich was very small and 40% fried batter. I don’t normally eat large meals, but I left hungry. Beer is just okay and nothing really that special.Atmosphere isn’t bad but it can get a bit loud since it’s just a giant room. Service was very quick.

The food was great. Highly recommend the Smash Burger or the wings. Loved that they had a range of drinks from great beer to delicious non-alcoholic options.What I am most impressed with is the staff. I could feel the inclusive, people-centric vibe from walking in the door. The entire staff was kind, patient, and so helpful. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a restaurant. Highly recommend Burlington Beer Company for your next outing.
