A great place for pastries and hot tea! ?

The best store in Washington. Everything is always fresh and there is a very large selection. Hot food is always prepared with love. It is impossible to leave this store with only one package. Each time we leave there from $300.But there is also a minus, when you place an order by phone, lately they have been placing the wrong order, or suddenly they run out of salads, it’s not pleasant.I recommend this store.

I still decided to share my experience. So my husband and I are regular customers of Marvel. We used to live somewhere else and the closest store was in Tacoma. Everything was so delicious and there were never any problems. But then we moved to another place and now this Marvel is the closest, but it is far from our home. Therefore, we went shopping about once every 2 weeks and our average bill was 150-160 dollars!!!!Half of it is in the department of salads, pickles, sausages and other things. All was good. But one day we bought 2 breads, one black and one gray. Black original packaging, long shelf life before opening. We opened both breads and began to eat. After 3, we saw traces of mold on the gray bread and, of course, threw it away. I was incredibly surprised by how long it had. The next day mold formed on the black. There is no mold in our house and this is the first problem with bread. My husband said that there was no point in going to Marvel with bread and a check, since we would spend more money on gasoline, plus time and nerves. We threw away the check, thinking it was an accident. But since then, on the day of purchase, we cut off a piece for today, and put the rest in the freezer. This spoils the taste. But we found gray bread only here, alas.On our next purchase, we bought again for about $160, a lot of everything. Among the purchases was a mushroom salad with cheese, I think, and mayonnaise, since it was in something white. We bought it and I liked it. I opened it the day I bought it. I put it on a clean plate with a clean spoon and, having tasted it, felt that the taste was unpleasant, as if the salad was not fresh and the stage of spoilage of the product had begun. I didn’t want to get poisoned, so I threw it away. The same receipt contained a product called jellied meat, but it was wrapped like sausage. This is a ready-made, cooked product stored in the refrigerator. The first piece was good and even the second. But when I took it out for the third time, the product was sticky, had a strange smell, and in general the product spoiled very quickly.Of course, I realized that the problem is that they prepare salads and do not write the production date, nor do they indicate expiration dates. That salad and jellied meat were made a long time ago. Jellied meat I bought the end. That is, they were prepared a long time ago and the remainder was sold. I thought I still had time, but I really don't.Mushroom and mayonnaise salad. You can get very poisoned. They should have tested the long-prepared product before selling it.So, check three and my last straw. Check for $142. It contains Korean carrots and adjika. Korean carrots are not the same as the Koreans, similar. After opening it deteriorated within a few days. But there are also natural preservatives vinegar and salt. If salads need to be eaten on the day of purchase or a maximum of 2 days, then you need to write about it.Well, at the end of the day - adjika. It stood closed in the refrigerator and after 3 days we took it out and already the first spoon had a suspicious taste, on the second my husband spat it out and threw it all in the trash. That is, the product did not open, we could not introduce bacteria. In total, we were regular customers with an average bill of 150-160 dollars. But after 3 purchases and a good amount of money thrown in the trash, when my husband suggested going to Marvel, I said, I’m tired of throwing food and money in the trash. We went for unique products, for recipes from childhood. Everything factory-packed can be bought at the Saars store and some items are cheaper there and it’s close to home. Having lost the opportunity to buy salads and pickles, the need for Marvel disappeared.I hope the store management will read and make signs with the production date and expiration date. After all, there may be more people like us. Many may stop walking silently. I found the last receipt and it is dated February 14th. I just wrote a review and was thinking a lot about whether to write it or not. Many people don’t write, but simply stop being regula

Finally, I found a good grocery store with Eastern European products (caviar is the most important thing for me and the price made me very happy compared to other stores), and especially with friendly employees and a clean interior. Thank you Guys!

Like this store. So far, I have no issues with any product. Only one thing I dont like about it is no smile on the employees' faces. All employees have to greet customers with smiles, but they always give an angry look to the customers. Was not acceptable when supevisor girl yelled to the other employee at front of customer. Just to show that you are a supervisor? Who needs to know that? Many times, I stop by and always the same thing. Give your customers more smiles in each department and remove your angry masks.

This is an Eastern Europe store and it's awesome. The breads and pastries are amazing and the staff helpful. Their selection of meats is great and a good variety. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're looking for unique ingredients and Eastern Europe foods.

We bought a cake that was dry and not tasty. The price does not correspond to the quality.

The goods in the store seem to be filled with 90% Russian goods. It's amazing how they manage to do this. I would like to see more Ukrainian goods and products

The bakery section is amazing with a huge selection of bread/pastries with amazing prices. Tons of awesome stuff in the self-serve section too. The sour cabbage piroshky was delicious. Very good prices on all the imported items too which was surprising. Usually these stores just arbitrarily jack up the prices on their imported goods but these were some of the best prices I’ve seen in the region especially on their imported chocolates and semolina. Bathroom was nice, clean, and easily accessible. Overall 5/5 store

I used to like this store before and always buy food from them until now, had bad experience. I bought these chocolates from this Auburn location, (I only shopping at this Russian/Ukrainian store since is close to my house) when I started to open, i saw like 5 big warms in one packet, then started to open more chocolates and each of them had at least few warms inside the packet. The next day my husband went to them and just wanted to be nice and let them know about it, well the manager that he was talking to, was very rude about it. The chocolates were not expired but did buy few thigs that was expired in the past. PEOPLE BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY FROM THEM. MUST CHECK EXPIRATION DATE!!!

I stopped in on a weekday afternoon to take advantage of their lunch deli. Some staff may appear cold but they are mostly friendly and helpful. I will be honest, it can be intimidating wanting to order food when there are no names on the dishes and you don't speak the language, but I took to the pointing method and faired rather well. I recommend trying their bottles pomegranate soda; It's really good. This is a market so you can order lunch, eat at the tables outside, and then get a quick grocery shopping trip in. Everything is clean and tidy. I can't wait to return, the food was so delicious.
