Came in with my husband and our daughter around noon today and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait for the three of us. Cool, no problem there, we took the opportunity to walk around a bit before we were seated. We come back about 25 minutes later and spot 2 different tables open…problem is that it’s too tight to fit the three of us. Now we’re slightly annoyed, but still just happy to be there since we were given the impression that there would be a table open for us soon. 15 more minutes go by and we wait, and watched as people were seated before us. I can understand that to an extent, but if they didn’t have the seating available for us, why not just be upfront about it instead of having us wait there in a crowded restaurant? During the 15 minutes that we waited to be seated (again, since they had given us the impression that we would be seated) the attitudes of the waitstaff got worse. I even saw one of the waitresses mouth “sh*t” as we made eye contact, almost like she was upset we were still standing there waiting. Given how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt as an 3 person party (sorry for your inconvenience there I guess) we won’t be back. Such a shame because this place came so highly recommended and we had driven about 45 minutes to try them out. We had a great experience across the street at the winery, and based on the conversations that were going on with the other customers around us, about the service at Streamliner Diner our experience was unfortunately not unique.

We were really looking forward to eating here. It was 12:30 on Sunday. It took them :50 to serve us. Food was cold. Very, very disappointing. I would not eat here again if someone paid me. Avoid this place like the plague.

This place was overpriced, slow, and not tasty, unfortunately. Wouldn’t recommend. We spent $80 for 2 adults, 1 small child, and a baby (who both ate a small side dish).

Absolutely fantastic little gem!Visiting from out of town and stopped in for breakfast after seeing so many amazing reviews for the PNW Benedict and was absolutely blown away. Food came to the table hot and delicious. The server put the most amazing little breakfast together for my infant son and the kitchen did an amazing job cutting everything to bite sizes for him without me having to ask. The puttenesca omelet was divine and the biscuits and jam were fantastic. The fiestaware plates and mugs are so fun and unique too. 10/10 experience all around!

After ordering we waited over an hour for a basic breakfast order. There were 3 cooks but it took a big chunk out our day for a breakfast that was mediocre at best. The biscuits looked great but the gravy for it was sickeningly sweet - a terrible rendition of a classic breakfast. The scrambled eggs came out wet… money was not well-spent. Sad beginning of a beautiful, sunny day in Seattle.

Love this spot for breakfast. It's tiny but the perfect diner vibes. I've sat at the counter and table and had great service all of the times. Good food and portions, and definitely try a biscuit!

This place was getting crushed this morning. So many guests. Saw the owner drop behind the bar and throw on an apron. Everybody was cool and calm and the quality/presentation stayed between the lines. Such a great place. Now I need a nap. #

So amazing. My kids and I ate at the counter and watched the ballet of the three cooks as they made our food. Usually you don't want to watch someone make your food -- TMI -- but this was great. And so delicious. Pesto sausage omelette, biscuits and gravy and waffle. 10 out of 10.

I visited this diner last Friday for brunch. Despite having three empty tables, it took my party of two 25 minutes to even be received at the door, and another 15 to be seated. The lineup was piling up behind us, but the staff rarely acknowledged it. The food made me sick - I vomited my breakfast out half an hour after leaving. To top it off, they overcharged me roughly $52 on my bill (I filed a dispute with my bank). Absolutely awful.

Cool area and nice people but food is subpar. Never seen bacon so overcooked (and I like crispy bacon, this was beyond the realm of crispy) or hash browns so undercooked. Eggs were meh. French toast was decent. I love diner food but unfortunately I wasn't a fan.

The absolute perfect hole in the wall restaurant just blocks from the Winslow ferry to Seattle on Bainbridge Island and the food was absolutely incredible. Loved everything about the place including the brightly colored mismatched plates and utensils and the staff was truly a gift... We will definitely return just for the food and the people. Absolutely love this place
