Went to Emanar again last night for the music & wine. We were hungary so ordered a couple appetizers - the olives & dates, both were yummy. Always enjoy the ambiance here & Richard & Mar are fabulous !!

We really enjoy this place, I found this explanation of the name of the restaurant and it does explain the experience, great food, great everything.EmanarEmanar - Spanish for "emanate"which means to issue or spread out from a source.Think of the comfortable heat from a fireplace, the sweet smell and beauty of a flower in bloom, the invitation of coffee in the morningand the welcome home from good friends."Emanar" also sounds like Mar and Richard's initials...M&R.That's Emanar.Feel welcome.

We just visited for the first time. It was very enjoyable. The wines were very good, the people were friendly, and the ambiance was pleasant. We also happened onto live music. We'll be back.

You have to stop in at this gem of a wine bar. The tapas are varied, well priced and amazing- try the meatballs. Spanish wines and outdoor seating in a quiet neighborhood make this a wonderful experience!

Some friends are weekly regulars and insisted we try it out as I'm a big Sangria fan. Workers are active and give friendly and local pride in business. Food was wonderful and extra special in the quaint space. Definitely a must go to...I would go weekly if I didn't live in portland

These folks know their vino! Tasted 3 and bought another. The owners and staffers know their stuff. Friendly, warm and no pressure atmosphere l. It's a bit outta the way, but worth the trip. Do it!

Great place for tapas and wine. Husband and wife owners put their heart into the place. Wife is from Spain, and you can tell the food is authentic. Husband knows his wine. Great ambience, even outside in the patio! Love it!

Emanar Cellars is a neighborhood wine bar that supports live music from local artists. The friendly owners and staff offer a nice list of Spanish wines, beers, and ciders with indoor/outdoor seating. Now in their 9th year, they've expanded their tapas (small plates) from olives and stuffed dates to ravoli and meatballs, plus traditional cheese and charcuterie boards. Try the Garnacha. Oh, and they have an AirBnB above if you want to have a worry free getaway. Highly recommend!
