If you're looking for a great place to taste local craft beer, or want to try an inventive and tasty new cocktail, they have it ALL!! The food is fantastic, and the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable to find the right fit for your tastebuds!I recently moved to the area, and have found myself there THREE times in the last couple of weeks already. There is always something new to try, and I'm sure I'll be making Northwood a regular staple of mine in my weekly outings.

This place is WAY too expensive for what it is! A chicken caesar salad shouldn't cost $23, not at a place like this. And that tiny, dinky peach vodka cocktail, shown in my posted photo, shouldn't cost $12! The lunch menu prices were outrageous.

Food was great, service was cold and didn't feel inviting. Didn't refill drink or asked if everything was fine. Charged me for a particular drink that didn’t taste right. Took a long time to get appetizers. Getting the check took longer than expected.

I used to live by this place and we frequented it often. We knew all of the staff and owner. I lived away now for about 5 years but recently paid a visit to have lunch. From the restaurant standpoint, things were the same and the food and service was good. What bothered me is the smell coming from bathrooms. This has always been an issue with this place as the bathrooms, especially, the mens, always stunk. This time however, it was really bad, as urine has seeped deep into the floor or the smell from the sewer lines are just flowing back into the bathroom. Paneling is also coming off the wall as if moisture is growing behind it or something. Anyway, I am not sure why they do not remodel these facilities as clearly, this needs to be done ASAP. The biggest fear is, if they don't care about the poor conditions in the bathroom, what is going on with the kitchen! Just fix it.

They have the best French fries you can find, especially the cheese fries but small portions for the price. Cajun Mac and cheese was very tomato heavy and lost the whole point of Mac and cheese..the cheese. The French dip sandwich was fantastic but the au jus was definitely lacking flavor. The mushroom papardelle was better but nothing very special about it. The service was mid but I will say we came in late so I'm sure that was why. For the price I'm not likely to revisit unless I'm really craving their fries. My fiance said he's definitely not coming back.

The food is amazing and the servers/hostesses are fantastic. As long as you dont come when it is busy, it's okay. The wait time can get long and very loud inside the restaurant if you do.

The food was very disappointing. The pretzel was wayyy over cooked, it was also advertised at the BIG German pretzel, to me it was average size. We were disappointed when we saw it. The service was stale and not very welcoming. Both me and my husbands main dishes were not good. Super over priced for what you get.
