“We were in town visiting and this place was perfect for our last night when we didn't want to cook. We're all huge fans of Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. We got a carne asada plate (huge slice of meat), a wet burrito, a chimichanga plate, a taco plate, and a super nachos. Everything was so good. We tried the carne asada, chicken, carnitas and adobada (marinated pork) of the meat options. All were delicious! We didn't eat there, but the outdoor seating is a great setup; four picnic tables with a solid cover over it. It was raining and I stayed perfectly dry sitting at one of the tables waiting for the food. The service was friendly and took a reasonable amount of time, considering how much we ordered. We'll definitely come here again if we're in town another time.“

“What a nice little surprise. Came here as we drove a different way home to just have a peek of the place. We don’t usually go to burger places together but decided to try. Great burger and my wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich. ONLY complaint was a customer sitting behind our booth. Wife and I were having a discussion in private & trumps name happen to come up. Didn’t say anything disparaging but “they” didn’t like it! They had to take it upon themselves to let us know “he’s the greatest American to ever live on this earth, that he’s almost like a messiah to them!” WOW! Can’t make it up! I just said, “this Reagan type, 29 yr yr vet considers him a traitor!” They walked off telling me to go back to where I came from and FU! Twice in one day I experienced political garbage like this at a public food venue! Never once in the past! So close to SeaTac but starting to feel like Berlin during the Cold War. Service was fantastic! The manager even thanked us for coming in. Unfortunately, one bad experience like this makes you question why anyone out of town would stop here. It’s a back way to get from Shelton to the Bremerton area or Kitsap county. The area does have somewhat of a reputation for non-open minded folks. It’s so unfortunate bc I’d like to go again. Just hesitant. Not really the business fault but they know who they cater to also. Maybe in a far distant time, we’ll stop again. Too bad bc they’d normally would get 5 stars from food snobs like me. 5 stars for food. 0 stars for some of their customer - just want to be fair!“

“The food is great only disappointment was there were no combination meals. Have to order everything separately . This causes higher cost. A lunch for two,was over $ 60.00 this included drink, egg roll and chicken wings. But the food was wonderful.“
“We come here regularly because of the great company, atmosphere (it’s always so cozy & comfy inside), it’s kid friendly and they have delicious German style beer (and a huge variety of canned ciders and delicious homemade root beer). It’s also great sitting outside during the summer, their patio is huge and plenty of seating and heaters if there’s a chill.“

“First time at the Dry Fly Cafe, and won't be the last. I had the Campfire Breakfast which is breakfast potatoes topped with country gravy, bacon and ham scrambled with 3 eggs then finished with cheddar and jack cheeses. It was the best breakfast out I've had in some time, and the country gravy is the new best in town. My wife had the greek omelot, which is mushrooms, red onion, spinach, Roma tomato and Feta cheese folded inside a 3 egg omelet accompanied with rosemary-garlic fried red potatoes and toast. She liked it but thought it was a bit oily - she likes butter - and could have used a bit more feta. Great service and setting - at the golf course. Well worth the 15 minute drive in the country from downtown PO to get there. Five stars.“

“Picked up a lot of pizza for our multi-family camping trip, nearby. Like to hit up the local places, and Allyn had a good rep. Glad we did. Big pizzas, heavy on the toppings. Perhaps a little more cheese than I like, but everyone else loved it. The veggie pizza was by-far the favorite. I should have gotten two of those. Super Meat lived up to its name. Great services, ambiance was in my opinion aided by the owners' kids running around and being sweet. Good for a pizza joint, bad for a date night. :-D“

“I cannot rate the atmosphere. Ordered online, fast arrival time for the food. They were out of extra beans, but tried to call and when I wasn’t available to answer, sent extra rice and a bottle of Coke. Their beans are that good, they run out. Really like their food and it’s fast for days you need something to be quick. Chimichanga, taco salad and enchiladas were ordered. The chimichanga was my favorite.“

“This place hits the top of a basic Mexican restaurant in all the right ways. Flavorful as in balanced fat and salt for the pollo a la crema from a broth standpoint, not a seasoning standpoint. Do keep in mind that the food here is bland, just executed decent. The ingredients were all prepared well in the chimichanga, and chicken taquitos. the margaritas were tasty and the mixed drink wasn't a bad pour either. When it comes to Mexican restaurants, they hit a cap fast on quality unless they're a steak house or are going for authentic. This place isn't either of those, and sure, it could use more seasoning, but as a nicely decorated and easily approachable place, it's hard but to love this place“

“Everything about our visit was great! We had a large truck and trailer, and they were very accommodating, letting us take up multiple spots. The bartender was so friendly and so was the chef/owner(?). They were out of a few menu items, but that happens with small business and great food. The chicken and the ham we ordered were so deliciously smoky, but not overwhelming. You can tell there's a great care put into it. Good beer, great atmosphere. We can't wait to be back and try more of the food!“

“I am use to spicier Mexican food. I find the meals like in that and, perhaps, a pinch more salt. 2nd time there and my opinion hasn't changed. But, the food is hot when delivered to the table which I really appreciate. Service was very courteous, polite and good.“

“We had been eyeballing this spot for a while and we finally stopped. We are a family of four with two teenagers. I wish I had known a large onion ring could have been shared between 4 people and a bag of fries could be shared between two. We might have saved a little money as a family of four was over $80. Not too bad though and worth the stop especially if you are hungry. We will come back for sure. It is located off a busy street so parking is iffy. They are a cash-only joint so be prepared.“

The restaurant was alive with the Saturday crowd.I ordered a cinnamon roll & a side of eggs. The cinnamon roll was delicious. The eggs were cooked as ordered.“
