Note that I work in the building where they are located, so basically I can get a 40% discount on their food (20% for pickup, 20% for no tip) if I want to eat their food for lunch in my lunchroom. I don't think anyone in my office does that. I thought I'd give the place another try since I haven't been in a while (and they are literally a 1 minute walk from me). The fact that I've been working in the building a couple years but have only eaten here a handful of times should be a indication of what to expect and my last visit was no exception. Basically everything I've had there, ever, has been a big "Meh". Maybe slightly upgraded ingredients, but it's just fundamentally not great, just OK. You can get OK anyplace. You can get OK at places that give you free rice. Baron's, if you have something you think is great, let me know and I'll try it! I haven't tried the duck yet (see my past review) but I will sometime, and they just started advertising Dim Sum which I'll try, but my basic review is Don't Go Here on Purpose.

I ordered Peking duck multiple times and it has always been great. However, this time the duck meat is missing the layer of crispy duck skin on the top of the duck meat. See the picture attached. Usually, it comes with that. I made a call to ask that but was told that it is because of a different chief.

Ordered a Peking duck today, it was absolutely delicious. The side dishes that go in with the Peking duck is colorful, delicate, and simply well-balanced. Would definitely recommend to anyone who comes here.

This was our first experience coming to Baron's but it will definitely not be our last. The food was delicious, the Peking Duck is the signature dish and the best we've ever had. Our Server Pauly was professional and courteous and very helpful with our answering our questions.

First time enjoying dinner from this restaurant. We've passed by many times in the past but food is kind of pricey so I added this restaurant to "my list" for special occasions. I purchased a Groupon for a "deluxe pre set menu deal." Deluxe Set Menu for Two includes: Chicken Hot and Sour Soup x2. Baron's Signature Peking Ducks Sizzling Pot Zucchini White Rice x2 The Peking duck and fixings (strips of cukes, melon, pancakes & hoisin sauce were delicious 5/5. They also include the duck carcass in a separate container, so tomorrow I will probably make duck congee/porridge, or soup! Yum.. Zucchini with bits of ground pork and spicy hot peppers were very tasty although very oily 4/5 White rice 5/5 The hot & sour soup was probably one of the worst H&S soups I've tasted--such a disappointment (I love H&S soup). It was gloppy, very dark and tasteless and had a layer of oil floating on the top. 0/5. After the first taste, my son and I decided to pitch the soup. The food for take out was packaged very nicely (and secure) in a reusable insulated bag. Everything still intact when we arrived home. I will definitely go back for the Peking duck and will try some other dishes
Came in for Dim Sum and had a wonderful experience with my family! Very attentive service and great food. The restaurant is very spacious so I felt comfortable dining in! Will come again soon with my family!

We stopped by for a drink. I loved my glass of Red wine that bartender recommended. The service was fine. We ordered chicken wings for an appetizer and it was delicious. However it seems do cheap that wings were broken into half as a piece... leave leave wing its size....

My husband is a dim sum aficionado and absolutely loved the dim sum here. He especially loved the lo bak go. I loved the shu mai, regular and salt and pepper version. I appreciated the attention to detail, lovely decor and depth of flavor in the food.

What a surprise! My husband and I were starving and looking for a place to eat after work. Since now places are beginning to open up, we decided to find a place that had inside service. We were in luck to find an immediate table open and got seated right away. The service was excellent and the food even better. We shared the kumquat ribs...so yummy and the Chilean sea bass ( to die for) with pan fried seafood noodles. The service was exceptional.
