“Recommend: Anything Croissants related, coffee, strudelWouldn't recommend: Paninis, hot chocolate, precut cakeThe croissants, coffee, and most pastries are great, but the cake and croque monsieur were disappointing. This place would easily have been 5 stars with a proper croque monsieur. Both the Ham & Provolone Croissant and Egg Roasted Turkey Tomato Pesto Croissant were fantastic, especially the pesto. The guava cream cheese strudel was fantastic due to the strudel being very flaky and and guava jam being a nice balance to the cream. Onto the downsides, the hot chocolate didn't taste rich or chocolatey enough, but it wasn't terribly. However, the croque monsieur was not satisfying and felt very underwhelming due to it being pressed into a panini and not having a layer of cheese on top of the bread, and not having enough béchamel in the sandwich. I want a croque monsieur to be incredibly rich and fatty, and this just felt like a regular ham and cheese sandwich with a nice crunch. The other thing I didn't like as much as I wanted was the blue berry cream cake. It looked delicious, and the blueberry cream was delicious, however, the cake was too dry and coarse. This seems to be an issue with most precut slices of cake that I've tried since they've already cut the cake, exposing the interior for a long time prior to consumption.“
“It was my second time at The French Bakery today and I took my family here for a quick lunch. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese croissants, an espresso macchiato, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The croissant sandwich was wonderful and I would definitely order this again. The Vietnamese iced coffee was super good too and will be my go-to drink order at this bakery. For service, the staff at the counter were pretty friendly. You place your order at the counter and if you're dining in, you'll receive a number and your order will be brought to you. If you order to-go, they'll call your name when your order is ready at the front to pick up. Located in Crossroads Shopping Center, the ambiance is cozy and casual. There's seating both inside and outside and it's a great spot to enjoy coffee/food and chat with loved ones. Will definitely be back soon - there's so many different delicious pastries that I'm excited to try!“
“This is such a nice, quaint little place, and there is plenty of offstreet parking, or free garages on the weekend. The server was impeccable! She was so kind, attentive, and amazing in this day and age, when so many servers and people in her profession tend to be rude and unkind. I wish I could remember her name because she truly deserves, tons of praise. The food was great; however, they were out of a lot of items that is too bad, but it means that I will be back.“
“I had a wonderful evening this week with a friend at Le Caviste. The last time I visited this wine bar was several years ago. I don't know why it fell off my radar, but it is back on it. The glasses of wine (5 ounce pours) are reasonably priced, and they offer a great variety. I selected a full bodied Gigondas and was not disappointed. The bites offered are also tasty. We opted for the olives, a nice creamy cheese served with an ample portion of baguette, and the tasty roasted mushrooms. Please give this establishment a try! Service was smooth and unobtrusive. I recommend arriving soon after they open at four because the space does fill up quickly.“
“My team and I had the most wonderful dinner at the Whale Wins (and I felt like I ate like a winning whale.) From the moment we sat down and were greeted by the smiling faces of our servers to the last drop of wine at the end of the night, it was perfect. We all agreed that the food was some of the best we have had in years. Each of us had a favorite - mine was the black cod and the Matiz sardines on toast. The servers were attentive, super kind, and made sure we left happy, with a delicious slice of the zucchini bread with creme fraiche and sea salt.I look forward to going back and experiencing the rest of the menu!“
“I can't even begin to describe the Noir show. It was just that good! I brought my son's girlfriend out for her 21st birthday. We're already planning for the next one. You can see the cast loves what they do. Ps. The rubber band thingy worked out.“
“DELICIOUS! Right in the heart of the pike place market is this amazing bakery/coffee shop. They have such amazing croissants & other pastries. They’re very tasteful. The staff is so helpful! One in particular person that helped us we forgot his name but had tattoos on his arms. Gave great recommendations, very pleasant attitude. The coffee is everything you’d expect from being in the coffee capital! Prices are super fair and it’s very accessible to people in wheelchairs. Parking was tough Ofcourse by being in the middle of the market it’s hard to find any spots available. The environment inside was so elegant and clean. Very quick service. This is a must try.“
“Nell’s is by far a gem of the Northwest. Their food and service have always been amazing and we just found their quarantine take out is no different. It’s one of those all time favorites where you have fun just reading the menu and then are giddy waiting for your meal. A must try venue that we are grateful to have in Greenlake!“
“French food influence by Japanese flavor. Menu changes often by seasonal items. Ingredients are fresh and good. All dishes are very neat and delicious. Chef's recommended wine also harmonizes with all foods. Beautiful views entertained us during dinner.“
“My new favorite in Bellevue! Warm and friendly staff, excellent service. Eggs Benedict (avocado & salmon) in a fresh croissant, served with a generous tea pot and porcelain cup. Bakery and dessert case has many beautiful and unique creations begging for my return. I splurged and purchased a dessert to go with a generous tip and a memento, so pricing could have easily stayed in the low $20-30 range/person as an average.Parking: I walked, then used the Bellevue Circuit to get home.“
