The food is mind blowing … so flavorful . We ordered the basil lamb, pork and veggie potstickers , the tofu salad , and the beef broccoli . Returned the very next day for more . MUST go for Chinese food in seattle. It’s the best tasting Chinese food I have had in my life .

Never had a bad meal here but had been given bad seats/tables and long waiting time.I always like to get a stir fry veggie and a spicy dish. I have tried the soups in the past and are solid. This is a good place for family style dinners.Ideally, try to sit far from the door. They don't turn their heat high enough and the draft from the door is strong.I also recommend looking at the menu beforehand. This is one of those places where once you are seated, less than 2 minutes someone wants to take your order.Parking in this plaza is pretty easy but it does share a parking with a grocery store so little hectic.

This is one of the worst experience I had in years. I make reservations for 6 people via google and got confirmation from the restaurant for the reservation. We went to the restaurant on time. But the restaurant didn't reserve my table at all. Instead of giving sincere apology, the waitress lectured me that I should CALL them directly for reservation and they don't trust the customers booked via Google would show up. This is ridiculous. From the conversation, they clearly were aware of and confirmed my reservation from Google. I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody. Very rude waitress and shortsighted business.

Let's talk about Frying Fish, the Chinese eatery nestled in the mall area alongside Safeway and a cluster of other spots. Finding a spot to park is a breeze, and once inside, you'll find yourself in a cozy space adorned with traditional Chinese decor. Despite its prime location, scoring a table is usually a cinch, which is a pleasant surprise. Now, onto the main event--their signature Sichuan frying fish. It's got a bit of a greasy kick, but boy, is it flavorful. The portion sizes are nothing to scoff at, ensuring you'll leave satisfied. With five spice levels on offer, I tend to stick to a solid 4, but if your taste buds are feeling adventurous, they'll happily mix it up for you. When it comes to sides, the eggplant with basil or pea vine in garlic are standouts. The eggplant brings the heat, so proceed with caution if spice isn't your thing. But trust me, it's worth it. And the combination of basil and eggplant? Absolutely divine. While the pea vine might set you back a bit more, its unique flavor and texture make it a worthwhile indulgence. For those looking for an alternative to frying fish, the tea smoked duck is worth a try.Just a heads up--the dishes don't come with rice, so be sure to order some on the side or prepare it yourself at home. All in all, Frying Fish offers a unique twist on Chinese cuisine that's sure to leave a lasting impression. If you're in the mood for a culinary adventure, don't hesitate to give them a visit.

String beans could use more garlic and preserved veg for flavor. It was pretty bland otherwise.Boiled fish wasn't spicy and was also lacking in flavor. The portions were small with just a top layer of fish and a ton of cabbage underneath

I eat here often. It tastes really good and the price is right. Most importantly, it fully meets the needs of a person who doesn't like spicy food but also likes Sichuan food! Basically, you can order non-spicy versions of all the dishes and they all taste very good, which is something that many Sichuan restaurants can't do. Fish-flavored shredded pork and Chinese Kung Pao Chicken are basically must-order dishes every time.

We came on a Monday evening around 5pm it was not crowded. I like the traditional chinese restaurant ambience. We ordered the boiling slice fish, the fish slices were big pieces and taste good, not over seasoned, but they were coated with too much flour making them mushy. Menu looks great with many interesting dishes, will return to try others.

After waiting for an hour they gave our table to someone else, the restaurant operates with an extremely inefficient and unreliable queuing system, dine here if you do not value your time.

Great food. Noise warning. If you are sensitive to noise, if it's overwhelming, maybe get it to go. Sometimes it can be quite boisterous. But the food is worth it! So much good food. Spicy chicken, cumin beef, mayo tofu with pork, fried rice, fish dishes, it's all great.
