This spot does have a really clean and well organized atmosphere, the service seemed pretty straightforward and helpful. The food was four stars more or less, unfortunately, it wasn’t my absolute favorite, but on the other hand, my husband thought it was beyond average and would return! The prices may seem a little bit high, but you are eating in Bellevue, and the portions are a little bit larger than anticipated.

The 2 people who serve are poorly educated, appear to have poor hygiene and their service is terrible. I would never return here.

The shaved ice portion was huge, more than enough for my two sons and I. My older son said his strawberry latte was his "new obsession". My other one ordered a mango drink. It was ok, nothing special. However, the boba was too big for the straw. It would get stuck every time we sucked it up. Service was great. We would be back to try other shaved ice flavors.

Ice monster has some of the softest shave ice! Tasty and not too sweet. The ice is super fluffy. Service was standard. Plenty seating but good to go when it is not busy. Casual spot for dessert. Taking one star off as it is quite pricey for a shave ice here

We, 3 adults, visited on an afternoon in June. The menu was limited. We ordered the large size, brown sugar bingsoo to share and it was delicious. The best we've eaten. We compare every bingsoo we eat to Ice Monster and nothing has been better. The service was excellent and the business was clean. Good stuff. Good staff. Good place for a sweet treat!

This is a new shave ice and bubble tea place inside bellevue square that I never noticed before! I ordered the Jasmine bubble milk tea and it was decent. A little thin milk tea but it was good! The guy who helped me was friendly which made my day. The place was clean and has WiFi. There is also a bathroom inside for convenience. Lots of tables to sit in and not too crowded or loud so it would be a good place to meet up with a friend for boba!

It’s so cool and good. So different! It’s expensive but it’s huge and good to share. My kids have been begging to go

I love me some shaved ice especially after a very fulfilling meal, but was severely disappointed when trying Ice Monster, both from a taste and price perspective. When you step inside, you can order one of two ways: go to the front and order through the cashier (if they're not busy prepping orders) or you can immediately sit down at an open table and scan the QR code to order directly online. We ordered the Fresh Mango Avalanche for 3 people (2 adults, 1 toddler). We also ordered Lychee and Condensed Milk on the side. The actual quantity/amount of the shaved ice was enormous so if you're ordering any of the avalanches, definitely share (it was way too much for the 3 of us). However, I was pretty disappointed we got such a small amount of fresh mangoes for the amount of the ice and the steep price. I think the total came close to $30 after tax/tip. The mango pieces that we got (which they provide on the side since there's no room in the bowl itself) were swimming in mango syrup which was great and added sweetness to it, but I'd have rather seen more mango pieces than syrup/juice. It was also pretty messy to eat. They don't provide you any small bowls unless you specifically ask for it, so we did. We also asked for a tray so all the ice would drop on the tray rather than on the table itself. I had high hopes trying Ice Monster, especially since it's one of the most popular shaved ice places in Taiwan, but I was left pretty disappointed.

Popped in for a quick snack but now I'll be a frequent customer! I wanted to order the mango shaved ice but it was unavailable so got the bubble tea shaved ice instead. The size is hefty for sharing and the "ice" is super creamy, almost as if you're eating shaved ice cream. The flavor was just the right amount of sweetness and the tapioca was so delicious that I'm going to have to come back for their boba drinks as well. I feel as if I've come across a hidden boba gem at Bellevue Square. Plenty of tables for dining in and bathroom inside as well. It said to leave your items at the table so the employees bus it but I wish they made sure the tables were a bit cleaner as you are dealing with sticky desserts.

The shaved ice at Ice Monster is a perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, although I didn't order it this time around and opted for some bubble tea instead. Initially I wanted the strawberry latte but they don't allow adding tapioca to it... why? So I ended up going with the black gold oolong tea with caramelized tapioca. There aren't many topping options available like the Happy Lemon across the hall. My wife and son enjoyed the fresh mango creme and the jelly topping inside it. I usually order using the QR code on the table but decided to do it up front. It was confusing because the cashier was taking my order but ended up telling me to order using the tablet on the desk. Service was quick, ~3 minutes since there was no one else in the restaurant. 4 outta 5

Ice Monster - Bellevue is the best shaved ice shop I've ever been to! The Fresh Strawberry Sensation is my favorite. The strawberries are so fresh and the shaved ice is so light and fluffy. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and refreshing dessert.

Would be 2.5 stars if Yelp allowed half stars Pros: - I can confirm that Ice Monster does seem to be listening to customer feedback. The price for our mango sensation was pretty reasonable (~ $15) and still shareable between two people. They also took our order at the front for dine in when we asked (though we went right before closing). Cons: - The shaved ice felt like it was missing some sweetness. Some condensed milk would have done wonders. It didn't help that the mangos were a little sour (though tbf mango season just ended) - Ice monster is hurt by the fact that Snowy Village is nearby and I would rather just go there (tastier shaved ice, larger menu). Meet fresh is also another good Bellevue option if you wanted more traditional Taiwanese flavors.

Ice Monster is a popular chain of shaved ice from Taiwan. I had high hopes but not only was it very very pricey, but the quality and taste just weren't there. I got the mango shaved ice and it was pretty rough (not smooth) and the taste of the mango wasn't fresh either. There was nothing in the dessert that stood out and same with the service. It has a weird set up for take out vs sit in and they don't really explain it either, if you order take out go to the counter, otherwise sit down at any table and order from the QR. If you're craving some shaved ice, I would recommend snowy village down the street instead, this ice monster just did not do it for me.
