Went for the Lunch Thali. Mediocre food. Rotis were burnt. Both the vegetable (aloo curry n peas- mushroom curry) were ok. Just the kaali Daal was phenomenal.Nirmal’s in Occidental Square is so much better

First time here. We tried the special vegetarian and the non veg thali. My bf is Indian he says taste authentic. Chicken was soft and the chicken curry was good. I did enjoy the food. We didn’t got sick. For 19 dollars you get a lots of food. It was worth to try.

Khushi by Nirmal’s is underwhelming on multiple fronts. The food fell drastically short of expectations, with questionable ingredient choices and flavor profiles that deviated sharply from traditional preparations. It gave me nightmarish flashbacks of food from my hostel’s mess during college days. The chicken curry was marred by the misguided addition of pumpkin sauce (or so it tasted), resulting in a tomato-pumpkin hybrid flavor that clashed with the intended notes. The chicken kebab suffered from a similar misstep, being drizzled with uncooked olive oil (or was it canola?) that overpowered the spices and imparted an unpleasantly greasy mouthfeel.Even a staple like the misal pav strayed far from its archetypal rendition, with the misal curry bearing little resemblance to the tangy, spice-forward essence that defines the dish. While articulating flavor aberrations can prove challenging, the overall experience left me immensely disappointed.Compounding matters further, the prices across the menu seemed highly inflated relative to the diminished quality, making it challenging to recommend this restaurant to even my enemies. Regrettably, I am limited by Google’s rating system and have to issue a 1-star when it should get 0 or less of those.

I had to go order of Bhel puri, jalebi, and moong daal halwa. For $13 I was totally disappointed by the portion size of bhel puri, not worth the money I paid for. The jalebi was like a thin strand and again not worth the $13 I paid for it.

We ordered bhel puri through uber eats. The quantity we got is a joke.

Unfortunately, all the food items we ordered, did not taste good, mostly bland, no flavor whatsoever. We got thali, chicken tikka roll, chole bhatora, and jilebi. Jilebi was decent. Overall, I don’t recommend. We got takeout, and service seems nice for street food.

It looked like food must be good here, though i tried only the Chhole Bhature - which was decent, but not Delhi style. The bhature were decently crunchy and soft, but the chhole did not have the Delhi spice blend. Search for good chhole bhature in SEA area continues.

This location does have answers to most of your Indian cravings. They do have a standard and a variable menu which changes every 2 months. It was Punjabi theme when we went to the location. Looking forward to trying something south indian.Besides the name, the owners are south indian. So I guess the south indian food should be good as well.(we did not get to try this time) except for filter coffee which was refreshing and answered the cravings.Chole bhature is a must have dish here and the filter coffee is nice as well. Do ask for vegetarian options and any customizations. As the staff is really friendly and are always there to help. The Non- veg thali was great and had good food. Kebab, rice, curries and an addition of gulab jamun to make it better. The owners and staff helped us with the customizations and did help us if we had questions. They do have a Bar and variety of cocktails.Vegetarian options: Goof number of vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available. Ask them for more.Parking: Park in the paid lot next to the restaurant and they will give a coupon to place on dashboard to not get charged.Kid-friendliness: Nice options for kidsWheelchair accessibility: The location and entrance are wheelchair accessible. 1st floor

Tried their samosas and they were a complete disappointment. On top of that they charge 50% more on a per unit basis (don'tmind paying if the quality matches). I went there as I've enjoyed Nirmal's food in Seattle. The only reason for not giving a 1 star is the helpful staff.
