Good experience overall. The yaki udon curry is good (the beef is excellent). Don't have to worry about parking lot at all. However, i think the purple rice can be more firm, it was not easy for me to pick it up without breaking

Overall great presentation of the food and the curry katsu chicken was really good with a bit of spice. The sushi was pretty pricey and not really that outstanding for the price. The service was a bit to be desired, best example I have is they had more than enough seating and would make my group and other groups just wait for 10 -20 minutes before seating. I remember seeing a person just waiting to be seated or have someone talk to him for 20 minutes even though his whole party was there.

possibly worth it for the lunch special, but at $42, i expected the chirashi to have better quality fish. the bowl comes with salad which is good but it also makes it deceptively large, but there actually isn’t that much fish.nonetheless, the restaurant facilities are quite nice and i like that it isn’t too high end.

I had high hopes for Kuro Sushi based on its excellent reviews. While everything else lived up to expectations, the Chirashi fell short. As someone who always samples Chirashi at new sushi restaurants, I found the fish to be just okay—not particularly impressive compared to what I can find at Uwajimaya. The biggest disappointment was the excessive amount of raw vegetables and the flower. I've never encountered a Chirashi dish with such an abundance of raw vegetables — definitely not what I expected from a Chirashi dish. Especially for a $50 Chirashi, I expected a more satisfying experience.

The portions are EXTREMELY small. I have never ordered from somewhere and left feeling so dissatisfied and misled. We left this place with our orders and went to another sushi place to order more food because the portions were so small. My partner and I both made separate orders for pick up, and the server tried to have me pay for my order that was already prepaid, AND they had misplaced my partners order. The presentation for the food looks nice, but not worth the price. We spent $50 on the pictured food. The food is also very bland.
