We got a bubble waffle a little while ago and it was so so, it felt a little rushed and undercooked. We left the store and about 10 minutes later decided we wanted to get a drink, so we placed an order online, about 30 minutes before the closing time. With more than 20 minutes left before closing, we get to the store and the door is locked. The employee is standing there talking to someone pretending like she doesn't see us. We tried to call the store and she ignores the phone. What are you going to do, break down the door? So we left and called the next day and whoever was working had no idea what we were talking about and did not want to do anything to reimburse or replace our drink order. With so many options in the area, this is not a great one, no wonder the reviews are sub par.

Customers come in and out looking like they are hopeless. Ha haThis time I ordered Yuanyang. The taste was good and smooth, but it was thin and not very rich. It is especially suitable for drinking in the afternoon, so you don’t have to worry about not being able to sleep.The salted egg yolk egg pancake is quite delicious. The outside is very crispy and there is a little bit of salted egg yolk inside. It is salty and sweet, but there is not much ingredients. I remember that the ones I ate in China were not hollow. This one is basically hollow, but the taste is still good.The double skin milk was really drunk. When I took it home and opened it, it was liquid and not frozen at all. However, I ate it and found out that it was made from powder and not milk. This was so disappointing.The taro puree fresh milk is pretty average. The taro puree is very powdery and can only be found on the wall of the cup. You can't smoke it at all. All in all, it's a shop that tastes good and uses ingredients sparingly.

Atmosphere is great and adorable despite relatively small shop. I got the signature mango pomelo sago, the taste is pretty artificial and the mango pieces are rough, dry, and frozen. I was hoping some fresh mango pieces or at least actual full mango juice.

Delicious Hong Kong style bubble tea and bubble waffle. The decor is warm and remind me of old Hong Kong movies. We went on a Monday afternoon and got our drinks and waffle within 10 mins. Highly recommended.
It has a very homely feeling and is a super cute shop. The drinks taste good and the workers are nice. The only thing would be it’s a little too sweet.

This is the most authentic bubble waffle / HK milk tea / mango pomelo sago that I've had in the US. Waffle is very light, a bit chewy, and nice and crispy on the outside. Milk tea was very strong and mildly sweetened as it should be. Mango pomelo sago was light and refreshing. Not sickly sweet and candy-like like many I've had in the states. Decor reminded me of Hong Kong! I thought service was good - not overly friendly or chatty, but I didn't mind.

I walked into Maichilin and immediately felt joy at being able to get Bubble Waffles with Black Sesame and Nai Cha. Both are delicious and deserved the 5 stars - But I also ended up talking with several of the people in line and when they learned I spent time in HK - well...I feel like I left with several new friends as well. I will go to this place often. They are super nice and these bubble waffles are even better than I remembered.

Online order app is trash. It crashes very often. No notification when the food is ready. I ordered the big curry combo but it didn’t have any curry taste. It doesn’t have any curry broth. The portion is small for this price. I won’t recommend it to anyone
