My favourite hidden brunch spot at the Bravern! Reservations for two every New Year's Day.

Been here on the day they opened about 12 years ago. ONE WORD, CLASS!

Recently went here for lunch. Great service and good food. Nice atmosphere. Probably not something i would frequent for lunch given the pricing but for special occasions not a bad choice.

I liked it.

Usually LOVE this place, so gave it a 4 but today was more of a 3. Odd service, I felt like our server didn't understand what we were ordering (eg. I got a lemon instead of a lime, they didn't explain my husband's sandwich would be toasted when he inquired about it, etc.). My salad was ok: The Lennox I think- recommendation- bake or poach chicken instead of grilling to make it softer, not so many kalamata olives, a softer lettuce such as Bibb perhaps and slice all grape tomatoes in half. Daughters' burgers and chicken strips w/ fries and fruit perfect! Husband's sandwich just okay: again, explain that bread will be toasted. No refills offered on drinks. We didn't order the fish n chips but list price of $34 seemed a little outrageous.

I always have high hopes when dining at NM's cafe.. maybe I got spoiled when I lived in the Bay Area used to the beautiful Rotunda on the top floor at Union Sq SF. This cafe cannot compare to Rotunda for sure and their only common theme is they both closed at 4ish! Small menus with limited to no choices for foods and drinks!

We eat here when we are in the area and are always pleased with the decor, nice staff and great food. The presentation is especially nice. Healthy food options, excellent salads and filling burgers!

My favorite place for lunch in Bellevue! Great service and comfortable seating. I can easily spend a couple hours there to eat and catch up with friends.

I used to like their high tea and would reserve for small baby showers with friends. But now that they don't offer it any more, it's not worth the price. The food isn't bad, just not worth it. And it's really empty in there. Not a fan of that kind of ambiance.

Worst choice for Mother's Day Brunch E.V.E.R. I was so excited about coming here, having been raised going to the Zodiac Room for Mother's Day at the flagship store growing up in downtown Dallas as a child. If this is the best Neimans can do on the west coast, please for the love of God, close Mariposa and stop the regret by unsuspecting customers for coming here now. It was such a shock. Our party of seven (7) were the first to arrive and be seated ... yet, every mother in the restaurant received a rose, except my mother-in-law and I. WTH?! We did receive the customary pop-overs, and water at our table. It took over 30 minutes for our mimosa and bloody marry to arrive. 30 minutes. It took them over 30 minutes to get our order taken. We were then told that the brunch menu in the little black book was not being served - and the Avocado Toast my husband wanted he could not have. While we waited, we were the ONLY table not to receive the traditional cup of broth (all the other tables surrounding us received them). WTH?! While we waited on our meals, our drinks went dry repeatedly. My husband actually went as far as to take the water from our 5 year old son. We had to flag the waitress down repeatedly and request water - once she came over and only refilled my water glass - but left everyone else's dry. WTH?! Finally at 1.21pm OVER ONE HOUR after we arrived and sat down (as this is a short post, you saw/read we arrived at 12 noon) our food was finally served. I seriously question sometimes if some wait staff have any comprehension as to how challenging it is to keep a 5 and 4 year old entertained that long while waiting for food?! Parents with toddlers will understand this ... is an art form when waiting this long for food to arrive! OH! And what a disappointment the food was after waiting so long ... The crab club my husband was served dry. No mayo, dressing, nothing. We had to request it. - Tuna tar tar, which we ordered off the appetizer section was served with the meal. - Child's pasta, which we asked for no red sauce, was served DRY and we had to request Parmesan cheese. - Seafood stew was served with only 2 shrimp and was supposed to have scallops, etc. however no one knew what was in the stew as must have been blended up into the tomato base for our my MIL and Nanny could make out. - chicken dish I ordered based on the waitress's recommendation was bland - pot roast that my father-in-law ordered was not so comforting. Disappointment is too weak a word to describe this experience. We waited another 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared and by the time the waitress came around and asked about desserts - we were over it and ready to leave. We had seen enough and to be perfectly honest - felt completely neglected and discriminated against, as we did not receive the same level of attention as we witnessed other customers receiving all around us. All around complete and utter fail on a level I have rarely seen, and on a day that was intended to be joyful and happy - that's what made it worse. This is not the level service I've been accustom to at NM. NOT. ONE. BIT.

We just returned from a long awaited Mother's Day brunch at Mariposa. The service was unbearably slow. The food was mediocre. Every mother received a rose for Mother's Day except for my daughter in law and I. All in all we were tremendously disappointed.

I have stayed away from the Mariposa previously because of the mediocre online reviews that they have received. I was surprised that their food, service and the ambience are all lovely. To top it off, a lunch with drinks and espresso for two is only $80. It is a lot cheaper compared to John Howie.

My husband ordered burgwer I got the sandwich with tomato, chicken, cheese and pesto. They are too plain nothing special but quite pricy(almost same as John Howie lunch price). Next time if I need to have lunch at Bravern, I would rather go to John Howie.

Service was okay. Food nothing special for the high price. The popovers (bread before meal) are tasty. One of the waiters touched my baby several times and I didn't appreciate that. It sounded like he had a cold.
